My Soul was a void, and I was a deserted wanderer roaming a wasteland. My existence was insignificant to humanity, which leads me to be jostled around, literally. A few months into freshman year and this had become a periodic sequence.

Battle my way through the halls, shift into my desk seconds after the bell rings, and a warning by yet another teacher that falls short at remembering my name.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

But today led to an unfortunate chain of events that turned into a marvelous out-of-this-world encounter. My whole universe was questioned, fate was playing quite the trick on me; making me believe the "Golden Boy" Luca was in the state of wanting to know or learn anything about me.

Luca was an oddball of a specimen. Always greeting people in the halls, he loved everyone loved him, and his clean-cut looks. Putting aside how the felt, nobody's connection was as profound as ours. He was my heart's companion.

The entire scene was cliche, the story of young love between freshmen, the clumsy girl falls allowing the savior to heroically walk her to class. Say what you want, but all I know is when my eyes bored into his I saw much more in the depths that was concealed from the naked eye. He showed me affection and care, a foreign feeling I haven't had the pleasure to enjoy. I was hooked on the sensation it gave me, and he was the supplier. He was my heart's desire and for once I was going to get what I wanted.
