"Fuck you."
"Maybe later, darling~"
"I'm going to rip your heart out."
"Must we be so feisty? That attitude can be used in much more productive activities, dear."
A murderous glare was sent his way. She looked like she was about to crack him in the nose.
Not that he wouldn't mind, anyways. Sebastian was a powerful demon, and a punch would barely damage his dashing human form.
Besides, if (Y/N) was the one doing the damage, he would be more than happy to comply. She was an interesting specimen, a confusing case, someone who had caught him hook, line, and sinker.
She had quite a riveting personality. It was almost as if she was bipolar, in a sense, with how she could flip a switch in a matter of seconds.
It honestly confused Sebastian. When he tried to seduce her, she would push him away and angrily spew insults. But when they had to work together, she became a bubbly and fun person, hardworking and intelligent.
This was one of the reasons the butler was so drawn to her.
Upon first meeting, Sebastian couldn't care less about the new maid. After all, she seemed rather plain and monotonous for his rather eccentric taste.
At first glance, she was boring. Common (h/c) curls that fell to the middle of her slender back. Dull (e/c) eyes paired with a rather complacent face.
Her persona was rather boring too. She was quiet, shy, and secluded. She avoided all gazes, only spoke when spoken to, and did not give her input on anything, even if casually conversing.
The demon really couldn't care about her.
But then, his interest started to build as he noticed the girl started to come out of her shell.
Not only being a great chef, (Y/N) was an avid reader, prolific writer, exceptional singer, and slight comedian. As the weeks passed, she grew more and more comfortable until it felt like she had been part of the servant family for years. She got along marvelously with the others, even managing to get on the good side of the young Phantomhive.
Sebastian found himself catching her little quirks and small flashes of mysterious beauty. It was quite irritating, to be frank, because she was proving to be a distraction.
He was hung up on her every move. He examined her small moments. He noticed how her brilliant (e/c) irises would flash darkly with intelligence, or how her silky (h/c) hair would bounce as she walked. He was hooked, to say the least, but yet, he knew the girl had so much more to offer.
It was only when on a certain night, the night the manor was attacked, that Sebastian's interested peaked and his advances began.
It was supposed to be a normal evening. The young master was in his study, the servants were tidying up the manor, Sebastian was preparing for the next day.
But out the window in the kitchen, where he was preparing the ingredients for next morning's breakfast, the butler noticed a metallic object, partly concealed in the surrounding forestry, glint in the moonlight.
A gun.
Guns meant assassins, hitmans, mafia.
Mafia and the like meant protecting the young master.
Sighing, Sebastian tucked his unfinished meal away and proceeded to collect the servants, instructing them to prepare for battle.
Now, he knew that each Phantomhive servant had a special skill or ability of sorts, yet since (Y/N) was requested directly from his Master Ciel himself, Sebastian had no clue as to what (Y/N)'s special quality was.
