Liam's POV
Just as Annie and I were walking into pickle barrel, I felt something similar to a knife going right through my stomach. Then, water poured all over me, just me. It seemed as if a lake was flooding into the mall, only on me. I lost all sight of Annie, and everyone else in the mall. Suddenly, I was alone, but not for long.
Because then I woke up.
I was lying in my bed, an empty glass on my beside table, Dylan and Annie sitting on my bed. I still felt the knife going through me, so just to be safe, I threw my sheets off to check. At this point, I didn't care if Annie saw me half naked, all I cared about was making sure I wasn't dying. Luckily, there was no knife, but when I got up I realized I was laying non a lego.
Of course.
I figured out why I felt the stabbing in y dream, and why I saw the water, but one thing I couldn't wrap my mind around was when did I fall asleep? I was sure that Annie and I actually had our powers, but there was only one way to know for sure.
I held my hand out and tried to do, well, anything really. Nothing happened. I kept at it, using different positions, body parts, everything. After a whole lot of failed attempts with zero success, I decided speaking to fellow humans would be a better idea than acting like I lost my mind.
I looked to Annie, then Dylan, "when did I fall asleep?" I asked them.
Dylan gave me a concerned look, while Annie looked downright confused. The two of them looked at each other, then back at me.
Dylan spoke first, "you passed out after dancing with Annie".
"But, didn't Annie pass out?" I asked.
Dylan looked to Annie, then back to me, "no? You just fainted so we brought you to your dorm."
So the dorms actually happened, but the powers didn't? This makes no sense.
Short little chapter whoop whoop long one coming sooooon
