Victor's P.O.V (Cyborg)

I was still thinking about what had just happened when I finally found Jynx. "Hey what's the weather like up there?" she teased as she leaned against me a smile on her face.

I shook my head, "Something weird just happened when I took Jade to her room." I stated, knowing I was about to make myself sound like a lunatic.

Jynx tilted her head, "What do you mean? Weird how?" her eyes went wide, "Is Jade okay!" I just barely managed to catch her before she could rush off and possibly disturb Jade's sleep.

"She's fine," I paused, "I think." Jynx was giving me a furious look.

"You think? You Think! What do you mean 'YOU THINK'!" she was furious, and I was just hoping the walls were sound proof enough that she didn't wake anyone up.

"I mean when I opened her door to put Jade down on her bed these small shiny winged figures flew out, picked her up out of my arms, and carried her into her room before closing and locking her door!" I matched her shouting with a quieter calmer version of my own.

"Oh then she's fine," Raven's voice from behind me stated, "Sorry we never got the chance to warn you guys about the pixies."

I turned around and blinked, "I'm sorry but did you just say 'pixie'?" I asked in pure disbelief.

Raven nodded, "Yes pixies, most commonly known as a simple child's fairy tail," she smirked, "Less commonly known as guardians of the innocent." her smile faltered slightly, "I'd thought that my father had killed off the best of them in one of his many attacks," now her eyes lit up, "But Jade's got an entire colony of them living in her room."

Jynx smirked and rested her chin on my shoulder, "Aw, did my big tough boyfriend get scared by a few itty bitty pixies?" she cooed before bursting into out and out laughter.

I scowled though it turned into a triumphant smirk when a soft sleepy voice spoke up from the hallway behind us.
