I'm not entirely sure if I can say things went back to normal when the boys returned home the day after the worst happened with Eleanor. You would think it has been all dreary because El and Lou would've been the ones that were really down in the dumps and depressed about what happened.
Well, I can assure you, they're actually doing well. The day the boys came home, Eleanor got straight to it on telling Louis. They went in the guest room of my apartment at 5:00 in the evening and didn't come out until 3:00 the next day. But, when they did, they came out holding hands.... and in a way, they came out stronger. They came back better and more bonded then they've ever been before. I was forgiven by both of them. Even though there weren't going to originally accept my apologies because they said there was nothing I had to apologize for. They believe, no matter what the doctor says, that it was just a sign saying it wasn't meant to happen.
I guess you could say all was fine for, I would say at least 2-3 days.... that is, until the unexpected happened with Sophia and Liam.
This had just happened yesterday and the boys had all decided to have a big sleepover at Niall's flat. Everyone went and everything was fine. We played the Xbox, Kinect, Wii, you name it. Board games, card games, charades. It was like we were one big happy family. Jakob had the time of his life with all of us there. He had thrown a Wii remote and broke it due to the fact of how hard he threw it on the kitchen floor while I was grabbing his juice.
I don't know what happened that night though.
Sophia looked as if she was having such a great time getting along with us and she looked as if she finally realized, she did fit in with us. I had no problems what so ever. Eleanor and Perrie were fine and thought of her as fine, as well. So we were all good.
But I guess, everything really wasn't good for Sophia.
This morning, when we had all gotten up at the same time thanks to Niall's hideous farts, we noticed Sophia was gone. Liam was in a frantic the minute he woke up without her in his arms and went on a frenzy search looking for her. It seems as if she deleted her cell from his phone and basically just shut off all communications with us. We (meaning everyone but Liam) gave up on the search after 2 hours and cleaned up while watching Liam let the realization that Sophia was gone sink in. He returned to his room at about 2:00 after skipping lunch.
Which leads us to the present. I'm currently shakily making my way towards Liam's flat since he hasn't ate anything since last night. He locked himself in his room and everyone tried getting him to come out and talk but he wouldn't budge. But, note that everyone else tried except me. That's why they suggested that I try bringing him something, knowing he wouldn't reject me.
As I walk down the eerily quiet halls and come up to the door that holds a broken hearted man behind it, I can't help but think...
He's not gonna let me in. He's just gonna want some time alone.
I knock and move back from the door and remember the last time I was here was under negative circumstances as well.
Is it always going to be like that when I come to Liam's?
My thoughts came to a halt when I heard the door bolt slide, then the lock on the door turn. Then silence.
Great. Did he just to that to make sure I can't get in or was he trying to tell me to leave him the fu-
"Hey Jess..." A vulnerable, broken voice snaps me out of my thoughts. When I look at Liam, he looks even more worse then when we had our fight and I came here uninvited. His eyes were bloodshot and there were heavy bags under them. His hair was disheveled bed head and he had tear streaks on his damp cheeks.
