Axel the Idiot

I guess you could call me, Axel the Idiot because I fuck up EVERYTHING. Like my friendship, my family, and my school work. I have lost about 8 of my friends, my family has given up on me, I seem to have a knack of saying what I'm thinking accidentally, and my grades are horrible.

Oh yeah.

And everyone hates me just 'cause I'm gay.

Fun.

Currently, I have a crush on my best friend, Roxas, which is stupid because rule one of life is never fall in love with your best friend.

"Axel, do you need help with number 6?" Roxas asks me. I forgot that he was over to tutor me today. I'm snapped out of my thoughts and look down at 6. Fuck, yes I need help. I shamefully nod yes. He chuckles a little and begins to help me with my math problem. I sigh. God I hate this. I hope he doesn't leave as well.

"Dude what's wrong? You thinking is never a good sign." He jokes. God.

'I'm just thinking about how much I love you, idiot, and why I don't wanna lose you.' I don't answer.

His eye's widen and he backs up a bit and stares at me as if I've grown a third head.

Fuck.

"Did I say that out loud?" I don't look at him as I ask the question and rest my head in my palm.

".... Yeah.." he seems pretty nervous for some reason as if I were joking or not.

"Go ahead, hit me for my stupidity then leave." I offer, everyone else does it anyhow.

"Dude, I know you're gay and I don't give a shit because I am too, remember? but really? Do you have such poor taste in men that you pick me?" He laughs a bit. Yeah. Rox is like my only gay friend. Augh. Now he's gonna make it hard for me huh? "I guess I have bad taste too if I picked you." He says again with another laugh. My head snaps toward him. I think I almost got whiplash there.

"Excuse me?" I ask, eyes widening when he leans over and gives me a quick kiss on the lips. I start sputtering and I feel my face get hot.

"I love you too." He says quickly before going back to his work. I grin madly and lean over to kiss him on the lips, but he blocks me. "gimme a sec I gotta get this one." Fuck.

Well, I guess they call me Axel the Idiot for some reasons.
