"How are you holding up?" He asked.
I shrugged as I took a sip of water. It had been two days and I still had no appetite in the slightest. Yesterday at dinner a guard noticed I hadn't eaten and forced me to at least have broth.
And let me tell you I wanted to puke.
"Come on you have to know." I shook my head as I nursed my glass. I'd have to get up and fill my water soon.
"Are you doing to tell me your name?" He asked as he tilted his head slightly to the side. I shrugged as I started to twirl the water around in the clear cup. He sighed as he looked down, stabbing his fork into what may or may not have been potatoes and brought it to his mouth.
"Why don't you want to tell me?" He asked.
I only shrugged again. Someday. Maybe someday I'll tell you. For now, those words were enough in my own mind were enough.
"You can't leave me hanging here." He argued as he picked up more potatoes. "I mean come on! How long can a guy like me keep a conversation going?"
A very, very long time. "I'm bound to run out of topics sooner rather then later." I don't think so pal.I just looked at him, and then finally shrugged again. He groaned as he set his face on his nondominant left hand.
I closed my eyes and put a hand over my mouth as I let out a small giggle.
I looked up to see his eyes wide and then quickly being replaced by a smirk. "So I see how it is. You're messing with me aren't you?"
I quickly shook my head.
"I think you are."
I frantically shook my head again.
"What are you trying to do? Trying to run me in circles?" I smiled and winked in his direction before I turned around and headed over towards the water station, leaving him confused at the table.

When I got back to my cell after breakfast I collapsed onto my bed and immediately fell back to sleep.
Mr. Princey pants was right, I think I was sicker then I usually got. I wanted to get up to get the guard and go to the infirmary but I couldn't. I couldn't move.
I couldn't open my eyes and I quickly fell asleep.
~*~
When I opened my eyes I was lying on a bed in the infirmary. I groaned as I moved and tried to sit up.
I heard footsteps coming towards me and I turned to see a medic coming towards me. A new wet cloth was placed on my forehead and the woman pushed me back down onto the bed.
"Rest. You need your strength." She said as she went and got medication for me to take. She helped me sit up and take the medication as quickly as possible before she set me back down.
After that my eyes closed and I was asleep again.
