"In my free time, I like reading manga."
Manga could be the foundation of anime. COULD BE. Majority of the anime I watch is based on a manga. Others can be games, or music, and such... But commonly, it's based on a manga. So, to avoid the feeling that the 12 episodes in an anime is not enough, I just read the manga. Sure, there are no movements and it's hard to read from right to left according to some Westerners who are new to the manga industry, but the story is fuller and more complete. :3
