At the moment, having books is 10,000x better than having a "boyfriend". Books let you explore a world that is not your own, but feel as if it was. Immersing you in its murky depths, not chance of ever surfacing again, to trap you in its clutches for as long as it could.
Books not only let us read about the characters and elements in the story, they let us feel as if we were in the story ourselves. Crying, laughing, getting angry, becoming sad, all along with the characters. It pulls you in before you can realize that you're actually now enclosed in between the pages.
