As Jake was getting ready for his dinner with Ms. Carr, he couldnt help but feel a guilty feeling deep inside. How was all this mess suppose to work itself out. How was he suppose to figure things out without hurting Shania or Ms. Carr.
"It was 6:57. The Limo should be here at 7". Jake thought to himself.
Sure enough, on time the limo driver paged him on the intercom letting him know he had arrived.
As Jake made his way down the stairs, he was ensuring that his outfit was appropriate. It was just a simple pair of slacks with a tie and vest.
As the limo drove to Ms. Carr's house, Jake sat there nervous wondering what he should do about his situation. He needed to act soon before it got way to serious. He had decided that tonight he would tell her.
He decided he would wait till after dinner so she could still have a good time.
After the limo arrived at her house, the limo driver held the door open for Jake. Jake approached Ms. Carr's door checking his reflection in the window before ringing the bell.
After a few moments, Ms. Carr opened the door wearing a short dark red dress that showed alot of her body. He had never seen her wear something so sexy in all the time he had known her. What did she expect to happen tonight?
“Wow.” Jake said astound as he gazed at her. “You look amazing.”
“Thank you and so do you.” She replied blushing. “I don’t usually wear stuff like this. It’s not too much is it?”
“No.” Jake replied hastily.
As they got inside the limo Jake could smell the perfume she was wearing. The smell seemed to excite him. He couldn’t explain why either. It had a scent of an exotic fruit or something.
As they drove to the restaurant there was silence. Ms. Carr kept looking up blushing as she noticed that Jake kept staring over at her.
As they finally sat at their table, Jake realized how romantic of a restaurant it was and started wondering if there really had been a meeting planned.
“I was just wondering…” Jake began to ask. “Was there ever a meeting planned for here tonight?”
“No.” Ms. Carr said blushing as she realized Jake had figured it out. “I was to nervous to ask you to a dinner as a date.”
“Oh, I see.” Jake said smiling.
