Water seeped onto my skin and wrapped itself around me, not trying to suffocate me, but acting as a protective layer. As it danced around on my skin I tried to open my eyes. When they opened I saw the rain falling from the sky, I'd never noticed how beautiful it truly was. The sky is always beautiful no matter what, when it's raining its beautiful, when it's rising and setting it's beautiful, even when its pitch black because the bright little diamonds that cover the sky make it look so tranquil and peaceful. That's where I belong, in the sky like a bird, free with flight. I looked down at the water that had stopped dancing along my skin, but started to glow a beautiful light blue. I couldn't move but I felt the rain giving me power, every cell in my body hummed, filling with the sensation. It was starting to get to much, but I couldn't stop it. I started to feel drowsy, listening the the storm around me, I wasn't afraid, it sounded more like a melody, a lullaby.

Waking up I looked around, seeing only tree's and the sky, so I stared at all the different blue hues that made up the beautiful gift above me, the smokey white clouds that were shaded grey in some area's.

"Miss are you alright?" Someone said staring down at me. I looked at the young man not sure how to reply.

"I was afraid you were dead or something" He said running his hand though his hair, giving it a messy look.

"I feel fine" I said. He looked at me a little worried and confused.

"What are you doing all the way out here alone?" He asked.

"I- I'm not quite sure. Why are you out here?" I asked in return. His eyebrows pulled together as he started to feel more worried.

"My dad and I are out camping for the weekend, I'm Nick" He said holding his hand out to me. I sat up and gripped his hand.

"I'm...." I stopped midway.

"I'm not certain..." I said closing my eyes, I know what is it but it's not coming clear.

"Oh" Nick said, not sure how to continue.

"Well I can't go around not knowing what to call you. Can I call you Kate?" He asked. I looked up surprised.

"Well you look like a Kate" He continued rubbing his hands together. I frowned and looked down at myself, wondering what he saw. Picking up a piece of my long blond hair that melted into a light blue then dark blue. Well that's fake, I thought. I waved the piece of hair that was blue in front of his face.

"Why would I have dyed my hair blue?" I asked

"I'm sorry but I don't know" He replied rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. I closed my eyes once again trying to think what my name was.

"Kate?" His worried voice asked. Behind my eyes I could see blue water, like I was being submerged. The surface glistened and shined, the blue started to grow darker down the bottom of my sight. Little tiny flecks of white emerged from the water, like shinning stars. It was so beautiful, calming. I felt a weight lifting and the feeling of floating.

"Eloise Echa Jennarose Emberlyn Barlette" I said opening my eyes.

"What?" He asked confused.

"I said my name is Eloise Echa Jennarose Emberlyn Barlette" My name brought a smile to my face, it sounded so perfect.

"That's a lot of names" He said running his hand through his hair once again.

"Yes it is" I agreed. He stared down at me with his hands in his pockets, rocking back and forth.

"How old are you Nick?" I asked

"17. Starting my senior year next year so dad and I are out camping before school returns. How old are you?" I opened my mouth and closed it.

"So where's your father now?" I asked avoiding his question.

"Where's your father?" He asked.

"I don't know" I said softly, keeping eye contact. His eyebrows pulled together.

"How can you not know anything about yourself?"

"I know my name" I said with a smile. "And right now that's good enough for me, I'll figured the rest out eventually"

"Speaking for your name, if I was to shorten it, what would it be"

"I don't know you, ergo I don't know how you think" I replied

"No, like what would you agree to letting me call you"

"Eloise Echa Jennarose Emberlyn Barlette" A name this beautiful should never be cut, shortened or changed. He groaned and rubbed his face.

'"Echa" I said in defeat. He looked up and smiled.

"If you must destroy my name Echa is the best your going to get" I said.

"Perfect" He replied.

"Now, where is your father?" I said while getting to my feet. As i stood I felt water pulling at my feet, beckoning me to come closer.

"He's packing up the tent" Nick said jerking his thumb behind him.

"And why arne't you helping?" I asked while crouching down and setting my hand on the surface of the lake.

"Well I don't know, I saw a girl lying on the ground not moving and I went to see if she was dead." He said in a weird tone.

"Well now that you know she's okay I suggest you get back to your father" I said placing my hand under the water while stepping forward.

"I'm not leaving you here, you don't even know who you are" He grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards land. The water swirled around my waist, I hadn't realized I'd been wading in.

"I'll introduce you to my dad" Still holding my hand he pulled me along a path in the trees. The more distance that was put between the water and I started to hurt, I put my hand to my chest where the pain was but kept looking ahead. I felt like there was a block in my head, making it hard for me to remember things, anything but when in the water that pressure was reduced.

"I don't understand any of this" I said holding my hand against my chest.

"Don't worry about it, my dad will help you figure everything out" He replied.

I'm not so sure about that.
