Steven opened his sore eyes. When he opened them he found himself in his own bubble. Under him was... Nothing really. It was just dark. Steven got startled because he didn't know where he was. So he used all of his strength he had left to burst his bubble. When it popped he thought he was going to plummet to his death but something broke his fall. It was a huge pile of rose petals . And right in front of him was the most beautiful rose he had ever seen on a graceful podium. And on a smaller podium beside it was a beautiful rose gold watering can. Steven thought for a second why this one rose was there. And then he remembered. His Mom.
"Please let it be true."
Steven grasped the rose gold watering can and poured the water Over the rose. Once the first drop hit, a bright pink light sparkled in the dark cave. Then the light turned into a beautiful silhouette surrounded with beautiful Rose Quartz crystals. The shining silhouette dulled down. Then all of a sudden standing right in front of Steven was his Mother, Rose Quartz. When Steven saw his Mother he ran to her and started to cry on her shoulder. Everything seemed back to normal. She still smelled like Rose perfume.
"Mom!"
"Steven! Thank you for setting me free. I came back to tell you that you need to choose your new gems. I am telling you this because Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl... Well... There gone. I am so sorry."
"What!? This can't be! Why did they have to go?! They didn't deserve it. They were always there for me and were like....family to me."
"I know it must be really hard, but I need you too choose your new battle partners."
"But I just want my family back."
"I know you miss them but you are our only hope. And having gems like you behind you will make you even stronger."
"Steven I need you to believe in yourself and choose them with the power of your heart. Whenever your heart chooses the gems they will come down to you in bubbles. And you will have to pop them for them to form. Your heart will choose 3 gems to help strengthen you. So close your eyes and let your heart free."
When Steven closed his eyes all he was thinking about was Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. All of a sudden he heard 3 soft voices in his head. They were Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl's voices. They were telling him that his heart has made the right decision and that he doesn't have to worry about what the gems are like because no matter who they are they will always care for you.
After that he opened his eyes and saw 3 bubbles floating in mid air. Rose told him to pop each one by one. First he pop the smallest one which was pink and brown. When he popped it a bright pink light shone out of it. The light seemed blinding. When he opened his eyes he saw a beautiful gem. Rose said,"This gem will be your guidance. She is Milky Quartz. Then he popped the second one which was slightly bigger than Milky Quartz's bubble. The bubble was Black and purple. When he popped it it wasn't as blinding as the first one. His eyes must have adjusted. When the light dulled down he saw another beautiful gem with black and purple dreadlocks. Rose said," and this is Obsidian. She will be your rock."
Then the last bubble was huge and it was green. When Steven popped it it shown the brightest like of all. When he opened his eyes he saw a tall gem with 5 eyes. Rose told him," and lastly here is your protector and healer, Fluorite."
After each gems bubble was popped, they now we're pretty much part of Steven.
