Chapter 18

*Xavier's POV*

I was about to kiss her but I stopped myself. She did not look at me. She just looked down at my chest trying to keep distance by pushing me away with her hand, which did not work.

She did not want this to happen and I really wanted it. I wanted everything to happen between us. I wanted to show her how much I loved her.

She held her dress tightly so that it wouldn't fall. She was weak physically right now and I knew it. That's why I came in with her. I did not want her to be hurt physically anymore.

I slowly went back and reluctantly removed my hands from around her waist. She looked surprised but relieved at the same time.

"If you need my help just call out to me. I will be waiting outside the bathroom."

She just nodded. I slowly walked out of the bathroom closing the door behind me.

 

 

  

"Umm . . Xavier ? Can you h-", as soon as she said my name I pushed open the bathroom door and went in. My name from her lips sounded like heavenly music to my ears.

She quickly hid herself behind the bathtub curtains. The curtains were transparent but blur so I couldn't see her clearly.

I could hear her heart beats. It was getting faster. I was happy because of the fact that my presence made her heart race. But I just wanted to make her heart race with love and not . . . fear.

I walked closer to the tub but I kept distance. I did not want to scare her.

"Yes?", I asked, trying to keep myself calm. I felt like taking her right there at that second and making her mine.

"Uh . . I-I need a t-towel.", she said in a soft voice.

I quickly gave it to her with one hand stretched out next to her, which she took quickly.

She wrapped herself and peeked from behind the curtains and asked me, "Y-you'll not g-go out now?".

"You want me to go out? I'll go.", I said with a smile. She looked so freakin' cute when she was scared. I wondered how beautiful her smile would be.

I slowly walked out and closed the door. As soon as I closed the door I heard a click. She locked it from inside.

I smiled at her act but I got a bit angry because if anything happened to her inside, I would have to break the door.

  

After a few minutes she called out to me from inside, "Xavier?"

"Yeah", I said and quickly ran to the door. I wanted to badly get inside and be with her.

"Uh I-I need clo-clothes...", she said softly.

"Yeah, open the door. Come out. They're here.", I had got a pair of Nina's shorts and a tank top that she gave me to give her.

"No! G-give me here. I-I will wear inside."

"Just come out baby, I won't hurt you, I promise."

"A-are you sure?", she asked with a little hesitation.

"Yes baby, hundred percent sure. Now come out and change here. I won't see you naked, if that's what you're worried about.", I said with a smile.

"Okay.. turn around."

"Done.", I turned to face the opposite side.

I heard the lock click open. She opened the door behind me and came out. I couldn't see her but I could hear her heart beating fast.
