Secrets

    I walked in the shop where the bitter aroma of coffee hit me. The warmth of the room surrounds me, making me always feel comfortable whenever I come here. Everything in the room is the same like I remembered back in highschool. The couches that spreads around the wooden tables on the soft brown carpet. The green walls with those weird paintings that would always interest me in some way.

    Back in highschool, me and my friends would always come here to hangout and have a drink of their delicious frapuccino. I remember everything like it was yesterday but actually it happened six years ago. Time flies fast. Before I was this seventeen year old girl living the highschool life and now I am almost twenty-three years old, working to earn some money

" Kiera, you finally made it"

    The voice took me out of my trance, making me look up. There she is, with her perfect blonde hair and baby blue eyes. To say she looks gorgeous is an understatement but her attitude is the total opposite of how she looks.  Sarah Rellington.

    Sarah was my bestfriend back when we were kids until we broke apart after we graduated. Then she appears suddenly and totally destroys my life. I sat at the chair across from her while giving her a blank look.

" Look, I know you're mad at me but both of us can't help it" she says, faking a look of innocence. I roll my eyes at her. Is this why she asked to meet me here in the coffee shop?

" Is this what you are going to talk about?" I asked, getting straight to the point.

" No, but it is connected on what I'm about to tell you" when she said those words, sadness and anger overflowed me. I know where this is going, It's about him.

" What is it?" I managed to say, awaiting on what was about to come.

" I'm getting married" as if the wind is sucked right out of me, I look at her to see if she was joking but from the serious look in her eyes, she is not joking around.
