Something Forbidden

Chapter 3: Raili

RAILI

All of us just stood there, not knowing what to do next. After Danika had been kidnapped by her brother, we were completely lost, or well, who's left of the group.

After Danika left, Annabeth had also kidnapped Janelle and Tia. Leaving me with Cheska, Marielle and Margaret. It dint take long for me and Cheska to get out of that state of being stranded after a guy named Will Solace approached us. He had blue eyes and blonde hair. He was also the head of the Apollo Cabin.

Leaving Margaret and Marielle by the lake, (which seems like a good idea) Will showed us to our cabin. It was the one we had seen awhile ago, the sun's rays making it look like it was made out of gold.

We got inside to be greeted by Roshan, a girl we had met earlier. She was with 3 other girls who were bringing sketchpads with them.

"Hi! Nice to see you again! Here are your other sisters and daughter's of Apollo," Roshan said, gesturing to the people behind her.

"Hi!" Cheska and i both said in unison.

Suddenly, we were interrupted by Will who was busy carrying blankets and spare clothes. He lead us to left side of the cabin where a bunk bed stood with new bed sheets. He lay the blankets on the bottom bunk and the spare clothes in a wooden closet.

"I call top bunk!" Cheska shouted, making her way to the ladder.

"Yeah, sure, whatever..." i said, i never liked being on the top bunk, i always found myself on the floor with a huge bump on my head.

"Oh, and, here are some paintbrushes." Will said, handing us both new wooden paintbrushes, "You'll find the paint under the bed," he added before heading out.

After hearing those words, i knelt down and grabbed a wooden box and dragged it out from under the bed. I opened the box, new paint of different colors were in there. There were also some old paintbrushes of different sizes.

I dipped my brush in the dark blue paint and started painting the wall. It felt like the wall was made out of canvas.

While i painted, i had remembered the guy in my dreams. I decided to paint him too. As i painted, i tried to remember my dream. The guy and i were walking through some strawberry fields laughing and holding hands, that was all i could remember.

30 minutes later, i was almost finish with my painting. I had painted the night sky and a faded effect of the guy right in the middle. I wrote my signature at the bottom with white paint.

"Done!" i said, putting back the paint in the box.

Meanwhile, Cheska was still painting on her wall. Her painting was the sun setting on the beach.

"Impressive,"

I looked around, it was Will. He watched Cheska paint on her wall then looked down to see my finished artwork. He smiled then squinted his eyes.

"Isnt that Nico?" he asked, gesturing to the guy in my painting.

"Who?"

"Nico di Angelo, he's a son of Hades," he explained.

"What!? That cant be true,"

He gave me a look then walked away. Seconds later, he came back with a picture of Nico who looks exactly like the guy in my dream.

"See,"

"Oh..."

"Are you sure you dont have a crush on him?" Will asked me.

"What!? No! I never even seen him!"

"Well, then, how do you explain the painting?"

"Because he... he was... ugh."

"Alright, ill stop, so anyways, nice work!" he said giggling and walked out the cabin.

I gave a sigh of relief, i dint want to tell Will Nico was actually a guy i had dreamt about. I just hope he doesnt tell the others.

I decided to go out and explore the camp while Cheska finished her painting. Outside, things were... odd. I saw Marielle and Margaret laughing with another girl who i think was also a daughter of Dionysus. Meanwhile, near cabin 6, i heard Janelle and Tia arguing over who gets to hold the dagger while Annabeth tried to break them up.

I was about to head over and help her when,

"Raili!"

I turned around, climbing on the back of a very tired looking Percy was Danika.

"Can you get off now!?" Percy complained as he passed by,

"NEVAH!" Danika shouted like she was a soldier in battle.

Percy, who was still carrying Danika, walked over Annabeth and stopped.

"You have 2 new sisters!?" he asked,

"Yeah..." Annabeth said, annoyed.

"And i thought i was unlucky," he said walking around the cabins again and again.

I couldnt help but laugh, Danika was the kind of person that loved to have fun. I sighed happily, feeling at home.

SPLASH!

Startled, i looked towards the lake, there in the water were Percy and Danika. I guess Percy had gotten too tired and dropped her sister in the water with him.

Next thing i knew they were both arguing and pushing each other back into the water everytime they tried to get out.

At that, i burst out laughing.
