Sans X Reader

Chapter 23

You woke up the next day. Melody and Frisk were still asleep. You got up and silently got out of the room. You walked into the living room and saw Toriel  reading a book.

"Ah, good morning my child!" Toriel said.

"Good morning Mom! Sorry that we fell asleep before we could eat any of the pie." You replied.

"There is no need to apologize. You three did get here really late at night so I understand." Toriel explained.

Toriel stood up and went into the kitchen. You followed her to see what she was doing. She sliced into the pie and put four sliced onto plates. She handed you a plate and a fork. You thanked her. And went into the living room. You sat at the table and started eating, savoring the delicious taste.

Soon, Frisk and Melody joined you. Once you all finished eating Toriel let you read books. You spent the rest of the day just reading. You decided to go to sleep early that night.

You woke up later that night. You heard a door close and footsteps. You smiled knowing what Toriel was doing. You followed her down the stairs. You hid where you usually did.

"Hello Sans!" Toriel said.

"Heh, sup Tori." you heard Sans reply. You were happy that he was fine.

"You will not believe what happened yesterday! About 30 minutes after we stopped talking, three human girls fell down!" Toriel explained.

"T-three human g-girls?" Sans asked. You heard the stuttering in his voice.

"Yes. They all are so beautiful too! Especially the girl named Melody. She is really pretty. And she is the flirty type too!" Toriel laughed.

"Heh, they sound nice. I hope I get to meet them soon." Sans said, a little sadness in his voice.

"Oh, I'm sure you will. Well, who knows actually. They did bring bags full of clothes. But who knows how long they will stay in here." Toriel explained. You sighed and decided to do something different and go talk to them.

"To be honest Mom, I don't know how long we will stay either." You said walking out.

"Huh? What are you doing here?" Toriel asked.

"Its hard to explain. But...may I please see Sans? And I mean face to face. Don't worry, I promise to come back. I wont just leave Melody here." you asked.

"I-I guess. I'll leave the door unlocked. I'll be upstairs if you need me." Toriel said. She unlocked the door. You hugged her and thanked her before she walked upstairs.

Once she was gone, you quickly opened the door and hugged the skeleton. He stood there in shock for a moment but soon hugged back.

"I missed you so much Sans!" you whispered.

"I missed you too (y/n). H-how do you remember?" he asked.

"I really don't know. Melody remembers too. We came earlier than before because it was dangerous for Frisk to go alone." you explained. Sans sighed.

"Well I'm glad you do remember. I don't know If I would have handled it if I has to act like I don't know you again." Sans explained.

You both hugged for a bit longer. Soon a gust of wind blew at you both and the drawing in your pocket flew out. You tried grabbing for it but failed.  Sans got it back though. He started to open it.

"W-wait! Please don't look at it!" your face was bright red from embarrassment. Sans smirked and turned away to open it. You continued to try to get it away from him but he opened it before you took it.

"Is that me?" Sans laughed

"Shut up!" You yelled, holding the picture close to you.

"Heh, your cute when your embarrassed." Sans said. He "kissed" your cheek, leaving your face a dark crimson color. Sans laughed.

"Well you should really get to bed. I don't want you to be tired in the morning." Sans said.

"Its not like much is going on. Unless Chara trys to attack again, tomorrow is gonna be boring." you replied.

"Again?" Sans asked, his left eye is faintly glowing.

"Yeah... She almost attacked me until she said the wrong thing at the wrong time and Flowey helped." You explained. Sans was obviously confused but he just shrugged it off.

"Well then why don't we go wake up Pap and talk to him for a bit until you need to go back." Sans suggested. You nodded and followed him to his house.

Sans motioned for you to stop and went upstairs into his brother's room. A moment later, the tall skeleton named Papyrus jumped down the stairs and hugged you.

"I HAVE MISSED YOU AND MELODY SO MUCH I AM SO GLAD YOUR BACK ITS BEEN 4 LONG YEARS IM SO HAPPY YOU ARE BAAAACK!!!!!!!!" Papyrus yelled louder than usual. You laughed and hugged the skeleton.

"I missed you too Pap. Melody has missed you a bunch." you replied.  You talked to the brothers for a while longer until you decided that you should go back into the ruins.

"Sorry guys, I promised Tori that I'd be back. Bye, I love you both!" You said, hugging them. They hugged you back and said goodbye.

You walked back into the ruins and locked the door. You went to your room and went back to sleep.
