We lay there on my bed watching lilo and stitch and all of the sudden Jake looks at me and I continue to watch the movie I can feel his eyes on me and they aren't pulling away. He then puts his arm around me and pulls me closer to him. I am now laying on his torso and I can hear his heart beat, it's very steady. I put my hand next to my head and I can now feel his abs, But I completely ignore it and continue watching the movie.
----------------------------Later that day---------------------------------------
My mom comes home and sees my shoes and a male pair of shoes but she doesn't see us so she kinda had a heart attack and ran up the stairs to see Jake and me watching movies and she completely leaves us alone. After the movie is over I got up and put in The Little Mermaid and lay back down next to Jake.
"Hey short-stack?" Jake looks down at me.
"Yeah Tall-Stack?" I say mocking like just for fun. He looks at me and I can tell that he is being serious so I stop chuckling and I look at him and he looks at me.
"I've really missed this." Jake sounds a little upset and I kinda feel bad but I don't really know why.
"Me too." I give him a half smile and go back to watching but he continues to look at me and I can feel his gaze, but I don't dare look at him I can't, I want to but I'm afraid I don't know why I'm afraid maybe it's because I have been waiting for this day for years.
"Jess?" Jake continues to look at me.
"Yeah Jake?" He puts his hand under my chin and makes me look at him and he whispers
"Can I kiss you?"
