Obsessive

Chapter 1

''Here and thanks for bringing my stuff here.'' I say politely to the movers and they nod at me as soon as they had my signature on the papers, they sprang into they truck and drove off, leaving me looking after them. ''Well let's go shall I?'' I say to myself and clap my hands together, turning and grabbing one of the many boxes. I arrived pretty late in Cherry Hill, an old but charismatic village behind a huge forest. The village is called 'Cherry Hill' because at the far end is a path that leads into the woods and then you take some left turns and right turns and soon you come to this Hill that has one of the hugest Cherry Blossom Trees in the whole nation. Many years ago the city would be full of Tourists that wanted so desperately to see this Tree. But that eased down after some months and the city would be almost empty, except the citiziens of course. The sky set onto a light blue purple color and stars slowly scattered all across the sky. I walk into my house and put it down in the living room, jogging out and grabbing another one, when I picked it up I heard jiggling of plated and glass. ''Oh. Be careful, Kimi.'' I say to myself and walk into the old yet cute building and then take a right turn to the kitchen. When I came out again the sky was dark and the street laterns blinked on with light, illuminating the streets and village. But what caught my attention is the woman that stands infron of my boxes that are scattered all over the front yard. She looked old and had one of these walk helpers with two wheels. ''Uhm.. Excuse me but can I help you?'' I slowly approached her and she blinked at me with her wrinkly face. She was clad in a dirty poncho snd gray pants with old sandals. ''You aren't safe alone in this village.'' She states, with a ghost of a smile. ''What?'' I asked her, straightening my back, looking at her confused. ''You need someone by your side, how about him?'' She ask me and I'm about to ask her who she thinks she is to scare me like that when she moves the blanket on her walk helper to the side and picks up a little Akita Puppy who yelps when he sees me. ''Miss, you scared me. You can't go around and say something like that to strangers, they might get Ideas!'' I explain her to which she laughs and hands me the puppy, that I gratefully cradle in my arms and he yelps happily, licking my chin. ''I have to apologize, it's a long time ago that someone young and beautiful like you moved into this damned village.'' She laughs airless and bows to emphasize her apologize. ''It's no problem at all, I was just a little taken aback at first. Anyways how much do you want for the puppy?'' I ask her and pet the puppys stomach to which he nuzzles his nase against my hand. ''Nothing. You can see it as a welcoming gift and for protection.'' she says and looks serious again. ''Protection? Are bears or something in the forest?'' I ask and look at the forest at the end of the village. ''It's not the forest that you should be scared of.'' She says and her eyes dart to the window of the house next door. When I turn my head in the direction I only see how the curtain gets fastly closed, making me wonder who lives there. ''Okay, um thanks for the puppy I guess..'' I trail off and she bows at me before walking away. ''Bye.'' I mumble to myelf and look down at the dog in my hands who wags his tail excited against my ribs. ''How should I name you little boy?'' I pet behind his ears and he rub his face against my hand, his tail wagging faster. ''Kyo.'' I say and he yelps loudly, making me giggle. i set him down and grab another box and make my way into the house, Kyo trailing happily after me. after the last boy is in my new home, it's past 11 pm and my body hurts badly, but I told myself to organize everything and put evrything to it's place so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I begin in the kitchen and put the plates and bowls into the under cupboard, cups and tea cups into the upper cupboard. Forks, Knifes and spoon into one drawer and the rest comes into the spare drawers and cupboards, next comes the living room wher I set up the lamps, my books and other decoration stuff, TV was already placed on it's rightful spot by the Movers just like the couches. Kyo followed my every step and he looks at me with big brown eyes. I knelt down infront of him and cradle his head in my hands. ''You are hungry right? I have now food in here yet, my car comes tomorrow morning and then we get you and myself much food'' Isay to him and grab a bowl filling it with water and placing it near the kitchen counter on the floor. While Kyo was drinking his water I went up and put all my clothes into my closet and comodes. My bathroom stuff got organized in my bathroom and soon I'm done with everything. I stretch my sore limps and yawn loudly, soon I heard padding of paws on the wooden steps and the happy face of Kyo appears in the bathroom door. I smile and walk to my bedroom patting my bed for the little puppy. He jumps up and walk some tme in circles until he brings himself into a fluff ball like position. I quickly change into an oversized Shirt that hardly reaches my bum and only let my panties on. I crawl on my knees on my bed and look out the huge window that is positioned directly above my bed and get a heart attack. ''Creeper..'' I say to the yet handsome face of my neighbor who is staring at me intensely with a serious face and close the curtains on him and settling down under the covers. Soon i drift of to dreamland with the image of my neighbor infront of my eyes.
