I woke up with a pounding headache, laying in my bed next to Jess. My mind was completely blank when trying to remember how I got here. Last thing I remember was downing that bottle of vodka then everything else drew a blank. I climbed out of bed and walked down stairs to get some water. In the living room I found Calum watching TV next to a passed out Luke.
"Hey." He smiled softly at me once he saw me descending the stairs.
"Hey Cal." My voice was quiet due to my head that felt like a hammer was nonstop hitting it. "I need to get some water and ibuprofen, my head is killing me."
"There's a glass of water and the bottle of pills already out on the counter for you."
I nodded my head and proceeded to the kitchen. The sound of foot steps behind me let me know that Calum followed me. As I stood at the counter his arms wrapped around me from behind. It was sweet gestures like this that I absolutely loved from him.
"Do you have everything packed? Because we all need to leave for the airport within the next two and a half hours." He spoke quietly into my ear.
"Yeah, I got it all done yesterday morning. As for Luke, that's a whole different story." I chuckled knowing that Luke hasn't even picked up anything he's thrown on the floor within the week of us being here.
His room looks like we've been here for two months, not one week. All of the clothes he brought are scattered about the floor. Trash from his laziness lies about in the room. It absolutely reeks in there.
"Guess someone should wake him up then." Calum stated resting his head on my shoulder.
"Yeah, not me. You get that hungover human being and I'll get the other one in my room." He let go of me and we agreed to go wake them up now.
I headed back upstairs as Calum walked over to the couch. Laying on my bed, Jess now had sprawled all the way out. One of her arms dangled from the bed, her hair was all over her face, and drool ran down her chin.
"Jess, wake up." I lightly shook her body in an attempt to wake her.
Nothing happened so I repeated myself and shook her harder. "Jess!"
"WHAT?" She completely freaked out and flailed her arms in the air towards me like she was being attacked.
"You okay there?" I laughed at her sudden lash.
"God no. My head hurts like a bitch." She complained like I had recently done to Calum.
"Downstairs, kitchen, water and ibuprofen, go." She did as I said and climbed out of bed.
Soon after I saw Luke trudging past my doorway towards his room. I got out of bed and followed after him. The state he's in, he won't be moving very fast. It's only logical of me to help him.
I can stand hangovers better than probably anyone could. When my dad would be up and home the morning after I drank a lot I'd have to pretend completely fine. So now I can bare a headache from hangovers, don't get me wrong they still suck ass, but I know I can survive it.
Luke immediately flopped onto his bed like I knew he would. A loud groan was let out of his lips at the impact. I don't think he even noticed that I followed him in here.
"Lucas, you need to pack." I poked at his side causing him to reach out and try to hit me.
"Fuck off." He mumbled into the pillow.
I walked over to his closet to search for a hanger with no clothing on it. Which surprisingly was easy to do since all of his clothes were on the floor anyway. I grabbed one and walked back over to him. This would be my makeshift stick for me to poke him from a slight distance with.
"Get," poke, "up," poke, "now," poke.
"Stooop." He grumbled not even moving.
"Lucas," poke, "Robert," poke, "Hemmings," poke.
"I'm going to murder you." His arm flailed around trying to hit me but missing.
"You," poke, "need," poke, "to," poke, "pack!" This last time I whacked him on the leg with it.
He shot up so fast out of that bed. His eyes were huge and I knew he wanted to murder me now. My legs took off out of the room, dropping the hanger in the process.
"MADY!" He yelled from behind me.
I was now fleeing down the stairs in search of Calum. He wasn't in the living room like I was hoping he would be because hey, less running from this psycho for me if he was. Instead he was in the kitchen getting food.
"CALUM! SAVE ME!" I ran behind him, his whole body covering mine.
An out of breath Luke entered the kitchen soon after.
"Where is she?" He angrily asked Calum.
I gripped onto the back of his shirt hopefully signaling him not to tell Luke. I looked over and Jess was sat at the counter just watching this whole thing go down with a smile on her face.
"Who?" Calum thankfully played confused.
"My devil of a sister who is going to get major payback." Jess was now giggling, causing Luke to look over at her.
"I'm not sure." Cal once again acted like he had no clue.
"Hm. Where could she be? Maybe since she's basically a foot smaller than you and a tiny person, she's hiding behind your big ass body." Luke finally caught on.
"If she is I don't know how she got there." This time I couldn't hold in my laugh and neither could Jess because we both burst out in laughter.
Mid-laugh Luke ran over and picked me up making me scream. I tried my best to get out of his grip but he held tight as he walked to who knows where.
"Where are you taking me?" I rushed out having no clue what he was about to do.
He walked out the back door only raising my suspicion more.
"All I can say is hold your breath." The next thing I knew I was midair, flying into what's probably the freezing cold pool.
When I came up for breath Luke was still standing there smirking down on me. Calum and Jess were walking out the backdoor to see what happened. At this point I was shivering because it's early in the morning so it's already cold outside and we don't have a pool warmer so this pool is freezing cold.
"What the fuck Luke?" I growled at him as Calum helped me out of the water.
He wrapped his arms around me, me doing the same. He was extremely warm whereas I on the other hand was the complete opposite. We all walked inside, Luke still smirking about the event that just unfolded.
"I hate you." I told him as I was wrapped in a warm towel by mom who came downstairs after we all got back in.
"No you don't." He shot back before walking back upstairs.
"Just so you know Lucas Hemmings, this battle is officially on!" I yelled after him.
He is so going to pay for this.
