Flat mates [completed]

The apartment was always so dull when Megan wasn't around, and I genuinely missed her when she wasn't here. I did invite Michael and Ashton over, but they weren't going to arrive until later on. I took it upon myself to get dinner, so I slumped in my car and drove to McDonald's. I wasn't cooking for one. I ate my meal on the way home and threw the trash away when I got there while attempting to make the place look a little more presentable.

"Cal! I'm here, and so is some blue headed guy." Ashton chimed as he entered the flat, Michael following in after him. "Sorry, this is Michael, my friend who Megan introduced me to." I said, the two boys introducing each other before making themselves comfortable on the couch. "So where is Megan?" Ashton asked as he handed me a can of beer he brought with him. "She's gone to her parents for the weekend. She doesn't get to see them very often." I told him, taking a drink of the cold liquid, savouring the taste.

"Yeah, I know how she feels. I hardly ever get to see my dad since he lives so many hours away." Michael added, accepting the beer Ashton offered. "Okay. Let's not turn this into a depressing night where we're passing around sob stories," Ashton grinned. "Let's have a fun night! We have the place to ourselves."

Just as Ashton finished speaking, I got a call from Megan and I instantly answered, heading into my bedroom. "Hey." I said. "Calum, guess what?!" She shrieked. "What? What's going on?" I asked, wondering what on earth was happening. "Don't worry, it's just that Tom came out as gay today and mom invited me over to meet his boyfriend. Tom also told me something I need to speak to you about when I get home, it's nothing bad so please don't worry. It's probably just easier to tell you face to face." She explained. "Who would've thought Tom was gay? He had loads of girlfriends in the past." I said, remembering the times he'd bring home a new girlfriend and he'd introduce her to me and Megan and we'd sit and talk to her for hours. "I know! I was so surprised. Apparently he had all those girlfriends to sort himself out or something. Anyway, I have to go to bed, we're going bowling tomorrow with Declan and I'm really excited!" And I could tell she had a huge grin on her face. "Okay, I'll see you Sunday." I said before we both hung up.

"Sorry about that guys, it was Megan." I apologised, sitting back in my seat. "I know, you never leave the room to answer a call, unless it's your girlfriend." Ashton cooed, squishing my cheeks and teasing me, making Michael laugh. "Okay, get off me." I chuckled, pushing him off me.

//Megan//
"Megan! We're not going to be able to go bowling if you don't get up. It's noon." I heard mom saying, even though I was still lying in bed, half asleep. I peeled my eyes open and adjusted to the bright light as mom pulled open the curtains, knowing that would get me out of my bed. "Okay! I'm up! I'm awake!" I said, now fully awake and making my way down for brunch where the rest of my family where sat talking amongst themselves.

After a slice of toast, I changed into a dark mustard, wooly jumper and dark blue jeans before slipping into my vans, and pulling my hair up into a messy bun, leaving my face bare. All five of us climbed into the car and to the nearest bowling alley, which was only fifteen minutes away. Mom and dad payed for all of us and we decided to bowl separate since there was an odd number of people, and we wouldn't fit into equal teams.

After a few rolls, Tom was in the lead which was expected as for some reason, he was extremely good at bowling. After a while, Declan took the lead which Tom definitely didn't like but he managed to slip in a strike for his final bowl and win overall. I however, remained at the bottom for the entire game. Mom and dad treated us, again, and bought us Pizza Hut for dinner before we headed home for my final night at my parents house.

I had to admit, I liked staying at my parents, but I also liked living with Calum. I felt more like a child when I was at my parents house, and staying alone with Calum made me feel so much more mature and more like an adult. I just wish Calum and I could both live together at my parents house. I'd like that.

Okay so basically I've written the next chapter already and it is mostly smut. I've written Chapter 21A which contains smut and Chapter 21B which doesn't so I'm giving you the option, depending on if you want to read smut. I understand some readers are put off by smut or feel uncomfortable reading it so that's why I've decided to give you the choice. I hope this makes sense. If you don't like smut, read Chapter 21B.
