I woke up with Luke peering down on me. Suddenly all the memories from last night came flooding in.
I let out a startled gasp.
"I wasn't staring at you if you were wondering, I just happened to glance at you and you woke up." He got up and walked away.
"Mhm," I said crossing my arms.
I struggled to get up from his comfy bed, and the drowsiness was pulling me under.
I got up and started to strip from Luke's clothes and changed into mine quickly, as the cold was slowly creeping in on me.
Luke barged into his room, right after I finished putting in my clothes.
"Hurry up changing and start the project," he said snapping at me.
"Whoa, okay." I slowly descended down the stairs, just to annoy him.
I heard him let out a big dramatic sigh.
"Alright well we have to write separate essays, but we have to work on the paper together. What should we research about?" I asked in a calm tone, but underneath I was hiding a smirk because Luke looked flustered.
"I don't know! You can write my essay for me." Luke abruptly stood up and rolled his eyes.
"I am not doing all the work!" I said, rolling my eyes at his childish behaviour.
"Yeah you can actually. You're smarter than me and I sure as hell don't wanna do this project." Luke said, glaring at me.
"Why do you change all the sudden from nice and sweet to an absolute jerk?" I yell.
"You're right," Luke said taking a big sigh, "I'm sorry Isabelle," he says pausing to see my reaction.
"That you're stupid enough to think that I'd be nice to you. You are Isabelle Cumberbitch after all. You're nothing to me, and I don't know how the boys can tolerate you. You Isabelle are a piece of shit, and I'm sorry for making you think otherwise." Luke turned to leave and walked out the door, leaving me speechless.
I wanted to strangle that blond breadstick but I knew that wouldn't go down well for me. I saw the closest sharpest object. I know it's a stupid thing to do, but I grabbed the scissors and clutched them in my hand. I promised myself I wouldn't get like this, not again, but Luke set me off.
I stormed out of his kitchen, searching for Luke only to find him upstairs in his room messing with his phone.
"What the actual freak Luke!" I was yelling now, my feet planted firmly in front of him.
His mouth curled into a slight smirk.
"Why don't you ever curse?" Luke asked stupidly.
"Because," I said, my voice calm and low.
"What are you going to do?" He asked, glancing at my white knuckles form gripping onto the scissors.
"I might stab you with them," I answered simply.
He let out a little shrug, but I could see he was a little bit freaked out.
"You're not really gonna hurt me." Luke swiftly got up from his position and walked near his desk area.
"I could if you make me angry enough," I said in the matter of fact, putting the scissors down.
"But seriously Luke, say all that again, and maybe next time I will stab you."
"Why do you care anyways of what I think about you? You know I've always hated you and that's never gonna change," Luke said with a smirk.
"I don't care! You could just be more civil. I mean, I don't care if you insult me and stuff. Yeah it's annoying, but I'm not hurt by it. But when people rant on about how much I'm stupid, then I get angry and bothered," I said crossing my arms.
"Well you should get used to it by now," Luke said crossing his arms.
I was in the bathroom, rethinking on how stupid I was and how mental I must seem to Luke. I stepped out of the bathroom and walked downstairs, finding Luke sprawled out on the couch, watching Mean Girls 2.
"Hey Luke."
He turned his head and his eyes narrowed into slits. "What do you want Isabelle?" He said sighing.
"Look, I'm sorry for what I did. It was really stupid and I honestly don't know why I did that. You probably think I'm some mental human being now." I backed away slowly, not wanting to hear what he had to say.
"It was a little strange. Okay, maybe a lot, but," he said pausing to scratch the back of his neck, "It's all good I guess," Luke said, nodding towards me. I let out a relived breath, but at the same time I was slightly horrified and realized how stupid I really am.
"No it's really not. I'm sorry for how stupid I was and you probably think I belong in a mental asylum. These blow ups hasn't occurred since we were younger, and I thought I was done, but maybe I should really get help
because what I did wasn't okay. Are you okay? Do you want me to finish the-" Luke sat up abruptly and pressed his lips to mine.
I let out a gasp and stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. He finally released me from his grasp.
"Isabelle. I said it's all good. Please stop rambling on so much," he said pacing around the room.
Luke's ringtone went off and he jumped over the couch, tripping. I let out a little giggle, and he shot me a lopsided grin.
"Hello?"
"Oh hey babe."
"Yeah I'm just working on our project at Isabelle's house."
Luke's eyebrows raise slightly, and he let out a growl.
"Of course Savanna, I'll be right over," he said breathing heavily.
I rolled by eyes, probably guessing what Luke was going to do.
"Sorry Fizzie, I got to go. Savanna needs my help for something," he said chuckling to himself slightly.
I rolled my eyes. "Fine. Just go Luke."
I shut the door hard breathing out a heavy sigh, slightly annoyed with Luke that he left with Savanna probably for certain things that I don't want to think about.
I walked upstairs slowly, shutting my door and crawling in bed. regretting ever talking to Luke.
A/N ~ Hey Guys! I know it's been forever since I updated and this chapter is very short, but I needed to post something because this has been sitting in my notes, and I've been editing this for about 2 months now. It's great to be back. :-)
