I woke up to my alarm confused and dazed from the dream I had the previous night. The world was in flames, bodies lay sprawled across the road as we drive past them as fast as possible. Then, I woke up with chills running down my spine. I pushed the thought out of my mind and headed off to school.

what we saw there was absolutely horrifying. the school was up in smoke with the S.W.A.T team and firefighters were trying to break into the building to evacuate. Then I heard it a blood curdling scream came from inside the school. The source was unmistakable, it was Lizbeth. I threw my bag to the side and charged into the building. The smell of death hung heavy in the air. Lizbeth was cornered by some giant hideous beast I had never seen. She saw me and screamed.

I ran towards the teacher's desk and grabbed a pair of scissor, I was going to charge and kill it, but when I turned back around my legs froze. The creature dragged Lizbeth back into the corner and pierced the back of her skull with his twelve inch long claw. Her blood spilled out onto the floor and I screamed in rage as I charged the ruthless beast. It slashed upwards with its claws ripping open my chest. I recognized the taste, it was my blood. I fell over to the side, breathing rapidly. I looked over to the creature it was surrounded in a pool of black blood with a pair of scissors protruding out of its eye socket. My breathing slowed and everything went black.

I woke up in a hospital bed with one person by my side my best friend from school Rias. She was asleep in a chair pushed up against the bed.

"Wake up, Rias," I said to her, smiling.

Her eyes slowly open but when she saw me she jumped up, flustered. "I-I was worried about you, so I decided to come check on you." She said avoiding eye contact.

"Where are my parents?" I asked looking around the room.

"They went home to sleep," she responded quickly. I looked at the clock. It was three in the morning.

"What are you still doing here then?" I asked.

"I told them I would leave soon after but I couldn't force myself to," she said her face reddening even more.

I tried to sit up but pain instantly shot through my body. I looked down at my chest and saw three long, deep, scars running up from my stomach to the middle of my chest.

"Don't try to move you'll only end up hurting yourself." She told me concerned.

The memory of Lizbeth's body lying in a pool of her own blood came back and I began shaking. "So, Lizbeth is dead?" I asked.

"Y-Yes, she is," Rias said tears streaming down her faces. I froze, "Damn monster." I mumbled under my breath. "You should get some sleep."

"Yeah, I am a little tired." She said as she sat back down in the chair and fell asleep almost instantly.

I fell asleep not long after. I had another vision. This time I was at Rias' house and two of those creatures broke in. I grab Rias and we start running down the street, then it ends.

I was released from the hospital in the morning. One of the doctors patted me on the back on the way out and I coughed up blood, but it was black blood. Like the blood that the monster had. I wiped the blood off my hand and we headed back home.

I woke up the next day, the school was still closed for repairs so I asked Rias if I could go over to her house. Then the vision of her house on fire flashed before my eyes and my chest burned. I pushed the thought out of my head and headed over to her house which was a few blocks away. I rode over on my bike. I was greeted by her puppy Angel who promptly tackled me and began to lick my face.
