Chapter 36 - The Girl in the Purple

I could feel wind on my face I was moving and fast, but I wasn't moving at all. I looked up to see that once again I was In Deidara's arms. I looked around to see everyone else carrying someone. We came to a stop at a giant hole and the intruders were thrown into the bottom.

"Deidara?" I said weakly.

"Yang! Your awake!" Deidara said holding me close.

"Were glad to see your awake, we're headed to a hospital not to far away." Kisame said coming over to us.

"However once your safer we shall be leaving, along with Zetsu and Tobi." Itachi said coldly.

"Yeah that makes sense." I said. We kept moving fast until we reached a small village. It was a little after noon when we arrived at the hospital. I was taken to an emergency room where my wounds were treated. Kisame, Itachi, Zetsu and Tobi left and went their separate ways while Deidara stayed behind with me. Every inch of my body hurt but what do you expect when a cave collapses on you. After the doctors left Deidara entered the room. He didn't say a word and simply sat on the bed looking at the ground. Then he looked at my hand that wasn't under the covers and grabbed onto it. He pulled my hand gently on to his lap and stroked my hand with his thumb. If it wasn't for the tears landing on my hand I wouldn't have noticed him crying.

"Deidara whats wrong?" I asked softly.

"If I wasn't so reckless you wouldn't have been hurt again." He said through tears. I tore my hand from his and placed it on his cheek wiping away tears from his eye with my thumb. He looked over at me and place his hand on top of mine.

"I'm going to be okay its not your fault, so please don't blame yourself." I told him with the kindest tone I could manage. He looked at me with such worry, with a hint of relief in his eyes. He leaned down and kissed my forehead before leaving the room. I drifted off to sleep soon after.
