Thick dark green blood dripped down the tip of my sword, staining the earth below it. The blood of a low-class demon... A hell hound, that I recently just slain. I flick my sword, flinging the blood off of its precious metal. You are probably wondering on what is going on here? Well, let me tell you. I'm a Demonslayer, and I have just recently completed my eight years of training as one. The village from which I was raised and trained in is Htaed Village that is built right next to the infamous Htaed Mountain which is outside any of the 3 kingdoms borders. A little information on Htaed Mountain, it's used to test newcomers to see if they're capable enough to survive in the wilderness with low and mid-class demons and having minimum resources. They have to retrieve a special item that is at the very top of the mountain, and just getting to there takes at least a month with all the dangers slowing you down. Once you have the item, you have to bring it back down the mountain to the village, but you can't leave the mountain without that object, you can't let anything bad happen to it. If you make it out alive, you get to start your training as a Demonslayer. Let me tell something about the training, if your not careful it could seriously mess with your head. The Master Demonslayers put you through a lot to make you one of the most dangerous warriors in all the land. If you're a Demonslayer roaming in one of the three kingdoms, their government will try to recruit you in their army at all costs because they know how valuable your skills are. Lots of past Demonslayers finish their training and decide to go join the army of either the Shanx Kingdom, the Nidas Kingdom, or the Teraian Kingdom. I on the other hand am a bit different. Everyone in all of Xoltus knows about the famous Six Bloods that are the main protectors and the stars of the Nidas Kingdom. Once one of the Six Bloods turn 35, they have to choose another person to take their place. Right now everyone except for the one turning 35 in three days is about around my age. When this happens they hold a tournament, where 128 individuals fight their way to the top, and the winner becomes the new member of the Six Bloods. Now tomorrow at noon is when the sign-up starts, and it's going to be like a race to see who gets to be in the Tournament. Anyways, my name is Riel Arsena. I am nineteen years of age, I have long black hair that hides my eyes a little, I have scars all over my body, and one on my face that goes across the bridge of my nose, and my eyes are gold and those of a dragon. My father was a Arch-dragon the highest of class of all demons, but there is something special about Arch-dragons. They can transform into anything they desire, and my father tricked my mother into thinking that he really was a man. They fell in love, but when the night I was born he showed her who he really was. My mother was terrified, but with a heart broken, my father flew away and never came back. Mother died when I was only ten years old because of a rare sickness, and since then I have had to raise myself, with the help of others of course. I trained as a Demonslayer starting at a young age, and now I finished at the age of 19. I want to do something to make myself and my mother proud, and I will do that by joining the most powerful group of people yet. This is my story, now listen closely...
