Nakarating na ako sa office. I opened my laptop to checked if Rica send me an e-mail but there's none. She's not communicating with me. It sucks.
"Sir, nandito na po yung athlete na nag papahanap ng sponsor." Bungad ni Leendon
"Okay, papasukin mo na lang." sagot ko
Nag hahanap ako ng sponsor para sa next tournament ko. Our family sports is billiards.
Nakatalikod yung manager sa bintana habang may hawak na kape, his shoulders is wide. Nagulat na lang ako nung humarap na siya.
"Arden, ikaw ang manager dito.?" I asked full of doubt.
"In my office you should call me Sir Arden." He replied. Sungit talaga nito. Pasalamat ka pogi ka.
"Okay, can you help me to find sponsors to my next tournament." I asked.
"What is your sports?" Tanong niya
"Billiards." Sagot ko
"Saang lugar ang next tournament mo?."
Tanong niya
"Sa Batanes." Sagot ko
"Oh I see, I have relatives in Sabtang." He said while zipping his coffee. I can smell his coffee is cafe americano. He looks so good in his formal uniform.
"Oh okay, I see." I plainly replied. Ayoko mahalata na gusto ko siya makasama. Baka isipin niya pinapantasya ko siya.
"Okay, I will be your manager once na talunin mo ako." Pagyayabang niya.
"Okay, game! Is that all?" I asked
"Why? Do you want something more?" He said teasingly.
"Ang kapal mo rin talaga no? You wish!" Sagot ko. Tawang-tawa siya. Gustong gusto niya akong iniinis talaga.
"Kailan alis natin?" Tanong niya
"Are you okay to leave on next Monday?" I asked. I'm thinking what would be our world in Batanes. I have to behave myself I don't trust myself around this guy. Sobra yung charisma niya sakin.
"Okay, sunduin na lang kita.I'll buy ticket." Aniya
"Okay, are you sure with this." Sabi ko
"Yes, this is my number you can text me or call me if you need anything." Aniya
"Okay I have practice later, sa bahay you can come I can cook dinner." Paanyanya ko
"Okay. I'll be there. Dinner ha? Is that a date?" Sagot niya
"Date? Sir Arden stop this non-sense." Sagot ko sabay alis sa opisina niya.
