Hey there, I'm Eve. Being me hasn't always been a piece of cake as they say. It's been a heck of a ride, but honestly what matters is that I'm here to tell. I'm gonna share a little about myself before I tell you about my life, love, and adventure.

From the age of two I was always adventurous. Before I could walk I would be climbing trees, digging holes, and trying to escape out of every crib my parents put in my way. I guess I was like a toddler Houdini. Once I got older, I would just run for miles and miles without a reason. I became a black belt in karate by fifth grade. Me and my dad would go out and hunt together in the woods in our back yard. I was pretty much the best at any sport I tried. I couldn't help it, I just lived and loved adventure.

One day, (I think I was about 13) when I was out at target practice with my pop, I saw this weird looking watch on his wrist. It was all black and had about six different colored buttons on it. I think pop knew I saw it, and he hid it immediately. I pretty much blew it off, but could tell something was up.

I left the range and went back inside. I immediately felt this odd, exhausting feeling rushing through my body and ran to my room. I ran through the kitchen and could hear my mom yelling to my pop that dinner was ready, and how he's always lazy and never spends any time with her anymore since the recruitment. What recruitment? I thought to myself. I sprinted to my bed and passed out instantly. All I could hear was this voice, telling me to go to the basement.

I woke up, feeling nauseous and dizzy. I thought I was crazy, but I still went to the basement. I walked from my cold, colorful room in the attic down the stairs to the main level. We have one of those weird huge houses where the kitchen is upstairs, which I still don't get. Our house is new, we built it just after we moved across the country. Moving from San Diego all the way to New Hampshire was terrible, but I knew it had something to do with dad's work. We lived out in the woods, but we were so close to the city that it would only take a ten minute car ride to get there. I have two sisters, Montana, who was 17 at the time, and June, who was 15 at the time. I saw June as I was running down the stairs and she got all freaked out. I just told her that I needed to go to the basement. "You're crazy." She yelled at me from across the hall.

As I entered the basement I could hear a whispering voice. Not loud, but almost as if it were coming from within me. I turned to an old picture frame, where the voice was coming from. It had a picture of my pop and grandfather. I opened the frame in curiosity, and saw an old, dusty key. What was this for? I rubbed the key and I could see letters forming beneath the dust saying, NSRA Headquarters. What is that, and why did the voice lead me here?
