Chapter 2

Sunday a busy day Chad open the roll up doors of the Diner and when he look back he saw two guys standing behind him and he face them. They’re both wearing a tuxedo one with the glasses on and the other one putting cigarette on his mouth. They look suspicious but Chad did not give any fear and he asks them of what they want and when he got no response he walked away and took a pale of water.  

“Are you Chad Hamilton?” The guy with the glass asks him. He stopped in his position but didn’t face them “Why, who are you?” He asks whilst wiping his hands. “You don’t need to know just answer my question.” The other guy entered the Diner and went straight to the counter where Mr. Tong is wiping the table. Mr. Tong and Chad give glances to each other and on their look they knew there is going to be a trouble. “So what if I tell you that I’m not the one you looking for?” He said being stubborn and the guy gave a fake smile and he took something on his coat. It was a picture and he showed it to Chad. Chad’s eyes widen on the picture, it was his parents. He look at the guy with confuse look on his face but before he ask the guy speaks.

“I know what you gonna ask. Your parents didn’t die in fact they are alive and they are with us. If you want you can come with us to see them.” He said. Chad knows that the guy is lying and that he wanted him to come with them. He knew that his parents sacrifice their lives to help him escape. But are they really dead? 

“What do you really want from me? And who the hell are you!?” Chad asks him but he thinks the guy just ignored his question and he starting to get pissed. The guy walks at the table near him and takes his right glove and took the glass and sniffs it. Chad look a bit disgusted but wondering of what the guy is doing and he said something that Chad didn’t understand “We sent here from the Division to get you.” The guy said whilst putting back the glass on the table. Chad is thinking about what the guy just said and he thought of the words his Mother told him about the Division.

“Why? What does the Division want from me?” Chad asks him puzzled because he still don’t understand what the Division want from him and how his parents alive.

 “Shit!” The only word that came out from Joshua’s mouth after he finish sketching on his work book. Two guys in a tuxedo and a curly haired guy are on his sketch and he was alarm because he knew that Chad was the curly guy on his sketch. He hurriedly runs out of the restaurant to go to the Diner where Chad is in trouble.

He arrived near the Diner and hide on the post. ‘Shit what am I gonna do?’ He thought and he looks at his surroundings to find a distraction and when he found nothing he thinks of another plan. ‘I can do this; I can do this’ Joshua thought of using his other skill though he doesn’t have much experience but he have to try to take away Chad from the Division. He needs to do it as soon as possible so he focused well on his mind.

“Chad? Can you hear me?” Chad startled from the voice that talked to him and he’s thinking of where it came from “Don’t speak they’ll found out that I’m here.” To not make any suspicious act and to not make the Division notice Chad follow what Joshua told him.

“Look at the post near the Diner.” After that he looks at the post to find Joshua hiding. The two guys look at the direction where Chad is looking. “Listen to me don’t get caught that I’m talking to you just act normal.” And Chad follows what he told him. He took the pale again and walk to some plants near him and waters them.

“So, Chad do you want to see your parents or not? But I’m sure you really want to see them, right?” the guy in with glasses said smirking. “What if I don’t want to come with you what are you gonna do?” “You have no idea what we can do to you Chad. So it’s better that you just come with us and no harm will come to you.” The short guy threatened him.

“Chad, use your ability to move things.”

“What ability? What are you talking about?”

“You have an ability to move things just remember what your mother told you.”

Chad thought of what Joshua just said to him and he keeps on remembering what her mother told him. And when he remembered he thought of how to use it because he doesn’t have any idea how to use it and as long as he can remember he hasn’t tried it. “I don’t know how to use this.” He asks. “Ugh! Even just a single try you haven’t used your power?” he said “if I only knew I wouldn’t ask you how to use it.” He mocks Joshua.

“Okay, now I want you to concentrate on a thing and make it levitate.” Joshua commands though he knows that Chad is going to have a hard time concentrating but Chad got to do it.

Chad started to concentrate on an object. He concentrates in a pipe leaning on the wall of the Diner. He raises his right hand a little in the direction of the pipe. He concentrates well and after a minute the pipe suddenly moves a little. He was amazed of what he did so he continues and when he controlled the pipe.

“Chad.” He turns around and lost concentration. “What’s happening here?” An officer asks him. He knew the officer because he has been a loyal costumer to the Diner and after that the officer face the two guys.

“Do we have a problem here?” The officer asks the two guys. They look at the Officer and then look at Chad “We’ll see you soon Chad.” The tall guy said and after that Chad just nods and they enter the black car and drive off.
