Chapter 1

"Officers Lindsey and Burgess status report?" Said Platt in the radio it was static there was nothing. She looked around worried as two patrolmen walked though the doors

"Hey you two! Check if patrol 7989 is out the front will ya" she said as they nodded and turned around walking out. She tried the radio again and got nothing as the patrolmen walked back in

"It's out the front ma'am" said one

"Thank Roman, James! Go check the girls locker room for me" She ordered Cammy James nodded before running off Sean Roman her partner walked up to the desk

"What's up sarge?" He asked her

"Officers Lindsey and Burgess aren't responding to call but their patrol is out the front" She said to him worried

"They're bound to be around, I wouldn't stress too much" He said to her

"Platt! There's no one there!" Said Cammy as Platt nodded rushing over the gate that led upstairs. She came to the top meeting, Julies, Olinsky and Antonio at the top of the stairs

"Platt?" Asked Olinsky

"Officers Lindsey and Burgess aren't responding to radio calls but their patrol is out the front" She said to them as they stood up worried. Lindsey was one of there's and they knew Hank had he's eye on Burgess as well.

"put a bo-low out for them, every comp in the city needs to be on the look out for them" Said Antonio looking at Juiles

"I'll swing by her apartment and then talk to Adam see if he's heard from Kim" She said racing out 

"Olin sky where's Hank?" Asked Platt

"He had a meeting at the Ivory Tower" He said stressing looking at he's watch

"Stuff it i'm going to ring him" he said picking the phone up

"Antonio! head down to tech see if they can get a track on the girls phones. Then check our cameras from out front! We find them and we find them alive and in one piece!" He said to Antonio as he nodded. Headed down stairs

"Ruzek!" Yelled Jules yelled

"Detective Willhite what can I do for you?" He asked her

"Have you heard from Kim or Erin today?" She asked him as he pulled he's phone out of he's protective jacket

"Ah a message from Kim this morning at 10 but nothing after that. What's happened?" She asked

"The girls have gone AWOL and we're worried about them that's all" She said to him as he nodded

"Has someone gone to check their places?" he asked her

"I'm about to head out and check Erin's, Their patrol was out the front of station" She told him

"I'll grab Atwater and we'll check out Kim's place. Look I don't know if you or Hank know this but Erin's been talking with a Patrolmen from another district for a couple of months" He said as she laughed

"Jay Halstead, Hank knows about him. I'm going to have to call him too" She said looking down

"If you want to come with us you can, we're a family here and right now we've got to stick together" He told her as she nodded

"Let's get Atwater and get going" She said

"Halstead!" Called the desk Sargent of the 89th

"What's up Sarge?" He asked her

"Hank Voight is here to talk to you" She said to him as Jay turned around finding Hank leaning against the wall

"Sir! What's happened?" He asked him

"Erin and her partner Kim Burgess have gone AWOL until we get confirmation from our camera's  that's what we can assume" He said to him as Jay looked around

"Bo-low?" he asked Hank

"Sent out as soon as my team found out" He said to him

"Sarge, permission to leave shift?" Asked Jay

"Go!" Said he's sergeant

"Right! What now?" he asked turning to Hank

"We start looking, come on" He said as they walked out of the 89th. Jay stopped and looked at Voight

"Can I call some experts in?" He asked him

"Experts in what?" He asked Jay

"a few of my ranger buddies, experts in finding people, analyst. They can help" he told him

"Call em in" He said as they jumped into the car

"Sorry Dawson I got nothing" Said Jin as Dawson rolled he's eyes

"This is Erin Lindsey we're talking about find something!" Yelled Antonio walking out of  the tech room and back to the lobby of the 21st meeting Voight and Halstead in the lobby

"Who's he on the phone with?" Asked Dawson

"A few of he's ranger buddies that should be able to help us. Jin got anything?" He asked as Dawson shook he's head

"Nothing, he's got nothing!" He said annoyed as Jay hung up.

"Mouse, Hawkeye, James and Jericho will be here within the hour" He said

"Who?" Asked Antonio as they walked upstairs after waving at Platt

"Mouse is an expert in tech your tech's will have nothing on him I promise he'll find that needle in the haystack, He might be a bit rusty he hasn't done this type of stuff since we left but he's still better than our best. Hawkeye is a snipper and sharpshoot like myself, James and Jericho are physical trackers again they can find the needle in the hay stack" He said to them

"And they can be trusted?" Asked Voight

"I've had my life in their hands before" He said to them as they nodded

"Anything?" Asked Olinsky

"Nada, we've got a few of Jay's buddies coming in to help" Said Voight as they started writing things up on the board.

"Kim!" yelled Adam from the door of her apartment all they where greeted by was science. sighing they turned away

"God damn it! Where can they be?" He asked

"We're on to it, we'll find them" said Julia

"I don't think I can live without Kim" He said looking down as they walked back to the car.

"Anyone in uniform change out, we're not leaving until we've found something!" Said Voight looking around at the small group of men and women standing in front of them.
