People are like oranges, behind that tough exterior, we are all soft.
But most people don't take time to see beyond that.
Why are we soft? Why are we guarded?
What do people do on their journey that makes them who they are? If someone is cruel, did they know love? If someone is loving, did they know cruelty?
Everyone has a story. Most people do not care to ask, yet simply judge the rind and devour the softness behind it.
Not many are humble enough to think, "if other people do not know my journey, then how could I know theirs". Or worse yet, how can others know their journey.
So let people peel themselves.
The result will be much sweeter.
