1 week later:
I wake up to knocking sounds at my door, I look at the wooden clock and see that it is 3:00 in the morning. I become nervous at the late visitor and slowly walk to the window in the living room to try and see who is at the front door. I could see a black coat, just the backside of it because of a wooden pole blocking the visitor. I go to my door and put my ear to it, hoping I can hear anything. I just hear slight shuffles from the now impatient visitor. I take a deep breath and place my hand on the cold doorknob twisting it and opening it slightly. The visitor lifts it's head and I see the face of Bambam.
"I know it's very late but I need your help..." He whispers. I grow confused but open the door fully to let him in. He walks in and I direct him to the couch.
"Would you like some tea?" I ask. He shakes his head and sits down on the couch. "What's wrong Bambam?" I sit next to him on the couch sitting criss-cross facing him.
"I couldn't sleep because I saw something in the woods. I don't know what it was but it was big. It was far away but close enough, maybe the height of our house. He was just walking and looking and he went deeper in the forest. I saw it Yoon Eun-Kyung, with my own eyes!" He looked at me with red eyes from lack of sleep. "Everyone was sleeping and no one would listen to me, everyone thinks mythical creatures are fake but I saw it!" He looked dead serious. Even though he is older than me by a bit, he still acts like he is younger than me. Sometimes he will call me Noona since I basically act like one to him.
"Bambam, I think you're tired.. Why don't you sleep here on the couch okay? I'll be right here, I promise." I smile rubbing his arm. He lays down on the couch and I sit at the end of the couch with my knees towards my chest and rub Bambam's calf as he slowly closes his eyes drifting off to a deep sleep. I look at his peaceful state and soon drift off as well.
I feel weight on my thigh which causes me to slowly wake up. I look down and see that Bambam is curled up with his head in my lap. He looks cold and it slips my mind that humans are colder than werewolfs. Sure werewolfs get cold too but less than humans when we are in our human form. I grab a knitted blanket that a old garden fairy made me ages ago and cover him with it which causes him to stir and become more comfortable from the heat that the warm blanket is providing. His eyes slowly flutter open and he looks up at me.
"Good morning Noona." He groaned. I smiled and stood up causing his head to fall. I make a pot of tea and pour it into two mugs, then walking back into the living room handing him the warm mug, steam causing his cold face to warm up. I sit beside him and we make small talk.
"I'm sorry I was sleeping on you, you must have been super uncomfortable." He laughed.
"It's no problem really, you were scared so I understand. No one comes over anyway so it was nice." I sip my tea and look up at him. He is taller than me even when we are sitting, he has a long torso, I have short everything. He took the first sip of his tea and made a face at it. "What's wrong Bambam?"
"Is there any sugar in this? Cream?" He raised a brow at the hand-crafted mug.
"No, I never put anything in my tea!" I lean towards his mug taking a peak to make sure a house fairy didn't poison it when I wasn't looking. They can be quite vexing in their free time.
"Do you have sugar?" He asks.
"Yeah it's in the last cabinet." I placed my mug on the coffee table and crossed my legs on the couch starting to relax. I hear him walk into the kitchen and open a few cabinets shutting them when he can't find what he's looking for. I hear him walk out and stop behind me.
"Did you find it?" I turn around in my seat only to see him holding the wooden wand a witch made for me, even though I can't use it because I don't hold the level of power that witches hold to activate the wand. I grew nervous as I quickly stood up from my seat and grabbed it from his hands coming up with an excuse.
"Back in the 1800's my bunch of greats grandfather killed a witch and took her wand. It's been passed down for generations." I nervously come up with a story hoping he will buy it. He nods and walks back to the kitchen. I sigh and put the wand under my mattress to hide it. I walk back to the kitchen seeing him sitting on the counter. He notices me and holds his mug out with both hands. I take the mug giving a slight smile nervous about what's going through his mind right now. I grab the sugar and pop two cubes in the mug stirring it as it dissolves. I hand the mug back and sit on the counter across from him. I look at the clock and see the time, 9:39.
I hear frantic knocking on the door so I jump off the counter and walk to the door, Bambam following behind me me like a lost puppy. I open the door and we both see the six boys with worried expressions which soon changed to relief when their eyes landed on Bambam.
"Yah! What were you thinking! We woke up and had a heart attack!" Jaebum yelled at Bambam. I stepped in front of Bambam looking up at Jaebum.
"It's okay, he saw something in the woods and you guys were in a dead sleep so he came over here. It's fine really, it was nice having someone to make tea for.." I said shyly.
"I know but it was late. Did he wake you up?" Jaebum asked.
"No I couldn't sleep, I was reading when he came." I lied. He nodded. "Would you guys like to come in?" I asked opening the door wider.
"No we were thinking about going out and inviting you, are you busy today?"
"No I'm not, where are we going?" I asked.
"Surprise!" Jinyoung spoke from behind Jaebum.
