Why on earth did Sidney Evans ever listen to anything his older brothers ever said? Why did their empty threats terrify him? It was his job to pick up after them: clean the house, deal with their horrible ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends whenever they came to the house.

As Sidney finished tucking the sheet of one of the twins' beds under the mattress, the door burst open. "Move, bitch," his older brother, Andrew stormed into the room and began to aggressively rummage through his closet. The twenty-one-year-old heaved a frustrated sigh and glared at Sidney. "Where the hell is my green tank top?" He asked bitterly.

Sidney pursed his lips and pulled out a draw, showing the top his brother was looking for neatly folded and tucked amongst the other shirts in the draw. "It's in the same place as all your other tank tops," Sidney said simply.

Andrew clicked his tongue and grabbed the top, slipping it over his head and covering his naked torso just as his twin brother, Anthony, stomped into the room. "Where's my pink belt?" he asked loudly.

Once again, Sidney opened the closet and pointed to the neatly-hanging collection of belts - Anthony's pink one included.

Anthony grabbed the belt and slid it through the loops on his tight, black skinny jeans (identical to the ones Andrew was wearing) and brushed the slight creases in his grey tank top.

Sidney's brothers would be attractive if it weren't for their awful personalities, and they would be identical if Anthony hadn't dyed his originally black hair fire truck red. All in all, Sidney would have liked them so much more if they had ever said 'please' or 'thank you'.

"We're going out, bitch," Andrew said, shrugging on a black leather jacket and handing Anthony a neon pink sweater.

"Can I -"

"No," Anthony said, cutting him off. "You're not coming with us." He smirked down at Sidney. "Besides, even if you didn't have chores to do, you have nothing cute to wear. You'll make us look bad."

"I could borrow -"

"We said no," Andrew growled, widening his eyes to emphasise his point. "And you're not allowed to touch any of our clothes."

Anthony giggled. "That's so gross," he said, laughing at the thought of his little brother wearing anything he owned. He turned to look at Andrew. "Shall we go?" he asked.

His brother nodded. "We'll be back by two, bitch," he said, laughing to himself. "That is, if we don't score!" He added, making Anthony laugh as well. The two of them left the house and hopped into their car, reversing out of the drive way and driving down the street.

Sidney sighed and started to tidy up the mess of clothes his brothers had made while they were getting dressed. When he was done, he made his way to the kitchen, opening the fridge and taking out a container of leftovers from the night before, heating them up in the microwave so that he could eat them for dinner.

The doorbell rang, making Sidney jump. He set his plate on the counter and moved to the front door, opening it and smiling at the girl who stood outside. "Faye?" he asked. "What are you doing here?"

His best friend grinned as she strode into the house, dropping a paper shopping bag on the sofa. "You and I," she said, pausing for dramatic effect. "We are going to a house party."

"Huh?" Sidney said, shocked.

"My little sister's boyfriend's friend's older brother is having his twenty-first birthday party tonight - no parents!" Faye explained, draping her light purple hoodie over the back of the couch. "Now, go get dressed!" she said, pushing the shopping bag into Sidney's arms. "I hope you don't mind, but I went shopping for you. I know you need an outfit for occasions like this."
