Such a petite thing
With legs that go on for miles
Teeny tiny waist,perky breasts
Smooth complexion
Silky black hair..
I sigh and turn away from the window,
From where I have been admiring her
My neighbour's wife.
I catch my wife's eye
She appears amused
With her short,fat self
Age hasn't been kind to her
Can having ten kids do that to you?
Am not a woman so I don't need to answer that,
With eyes that glitter with suppressed laughter, she says,
"No matter how hard you look at her and fantacize, old man, nothing will come out of it.You've let yourself go too".
I look at my pot belly and flinch
Maybe I should workout, burn the fat?
But on the other hand, nothing hurts on my body,
I think I should let things be
My wife doesn't seem to mind my out of shape frame,
I sit down and grab for my beer
The musical voice of hers can still be heard from outside,
Nah,too much work
She'll just be that to me
My neighbour's wife.
