What if yesterday was today
And today was tomorrow
Would I repeat the same mistakes
Of the past?
What if you were me and I were you
Would you still tolerate me
Knowing that I were you?
So confusing, right?
What if your pet became your owner
And you became the owner's pet
Would you still be patted on the head
And soothing words tossed your way?
What if servant became master
Would you survive the platter?
What if black became white
And white became black
Would colour still not matter to you
Or would you love the grey more?
Food for thought, whatever you dish out,
Just ensure that if tables turn
You can still swallow the tablet.
