                                                Knights of the Moon

I whisper

Carefully to the moon

Saying have a good day

While I rest

Under the stars

It holds in its sky

The king of a castle

The stars it's kingdom

These stars are beautiful

If you look a certain way

Each one has

A glimmer

Inside

The ocean

The shells of its sea

Each one different

Created a different way

Each color different

Each has its differences

That make it beautiful

The tree in the garden

Surrounded by

small plants

Each helping its share

Each plant helps

Without them

The garden

Wouldn't really be a garden

Just a lone tree

Surrounded by nothing

I whisper good night

To the moon

Telling him

To not take for granted

It's stars

Shells

Small little plants

That surround it

For without them

His beauty would be less

In his kingdom of the sky

I tell him how I will be awake for his queen

I tell him about his people

Who make his kingdom

A kingdom

And how each one is special

And how each

Have light

Color

Life

Inside of them

Not just

objects that

give them

his rule

But people with feelings

And emotions

These are the people

Who have

stardust on their hands

Waves at their feet

Life growing inside them

Have a good day old moon

For you may not see

The stardust on me

But your wife does

And she'll tell you

all about it
