"How much longer Leyla I need to finish my project before the bell rings ?!!"

This was the second time.  Frustrated I screamed to hurry up she knew I had to finish my project.

"Just hold on !!! I have a good feeling this semester it's my time I need to look amazing " she yells back

By that, she meant a new potential boyfriend was in her mind.

With so many suitors lined up. I was sure she would make up her mind by now.

She finally came walking down the stairs in her fresh out-of-the-dry cleaner cheerleader outfit. The mist of her favorite perfume left a trail behind. I purposely coughed earning a glare from her. As we walked out of the house not too far from school. She was my blonde beautiful fraternal twin with brown eyes that I swear hypnotized any guy and I was stuck with my grandparent's ice blue ones that complemented my cold jaded heart that my close loved one had expressed so harshly.

We tolerate each other since that's our only option. Rules are the only thing that keeps us sane.

I walked out with the massive poster and joined her in the car. I toss the poster on the back seat. I took my seat in front.

"Hurry up recline your seat " she yells starting her car.

My seat reclined to make sure to hide by lying down on the passenger side.

One of the rules we don't hang out at all when outdoors. Including being seen together.

She had her social circle she liked to protect to socialize. I honestly didn't care my friends were each different which I loved.

We don't socialize with each other's group. That's rule number two.

She always dropped me off two blocks away from the school to protect her status.

I was left to endure to juggle of my projects and heavy backpack

Thankfully I arrived at school just in time and like always she admired every step she took walking into school.

I was left being shoved and ignored while I wasn't an average nerd I knew I wasn't that ugly or afraid to use makeup. I   just was less tolerable of the idiocy trends circulating in school most people call it being a bitch

"Hey witch"

Kevin yells snatching my poster as he skates by me. He placed it over his head as he entered the school grounds. I rush to his side.

He is just the type of guy that was brought up by his grandpa. He has some morals still intact. He opens the doors for women and helps girls carry their stuff if there struggling even if thier strangers. The only thing his loud immature mouth does voice itself once in a while

I finally caught up to him.    I ruffled his blonde shaggy hair which he styled back to its natural messy bed hair. His  lanky arms grip onto my arm

"She's coming" he whispered

My friend Raven walking toward us. His posture changed and his smile widened with open arms ready to receive her.   Raven ran the rest of the way to jump him wrapping her legs around his waist.

They both had a thing for each other since they met they made it work. I was their third wheel enduring the love-stricken teens.

"Hey Jude "

Raven greeted me jumping off Kevin.

He started messing with Raven's Orange hair. Anything to get her attention.

Raven is the shortest of us all but that didn't stop puberty from hitting her in all the right place's so she tells me each time I mention my lack of development.
