Hiyori X Yato

~Chapter 2~

"You really aren't suitable for Yato, huh?" Sakura said. Hiyori's eyes widened with the mention of Yato. "I think I heard you wrong..." Hiyori said, "Oh don't play dumb girl, you know exactly who I'm talking about. Yato." "How do you know about Yato?" "I've known him longer than you. A lot longer, he's not your type. Because he is in love with ME." Sakura stated, then walked away. Hiyori was in disbelief. She couldn't believe that someone else in the school knew about Yato. She wanted to confirm this with the God himself. After school , she directly went to Kofuku's shrine and, of course, found Yato freeloading off them. "Hey Yato." Hiyori tried her best not to look depressed because of what Sakura said. "Hiyori, what's wrong?" He obviously knew something was wrong, but Hiyori just waved it off. A few min later she decided to ask about Sakura. "Hey..Yato, do you know someone named Sakura Hayashi..?" Yato almost dropped his beer bottle when the name was mentioned. "Hiyori, where did you hear that name?" "She just transferred to my school and said that you are in love with her..." "Just forget her ok, Hiyori? I'll "settle" things with her later. Just avoid her at school for now."
As Hiyori was leaving the shrine, she spotted Sakura across the street, looking directly at her. She pretended that she didn't see her, but she started to cross the street. That's when Hiyori started running home, but Sakura soon caught up to her. "Why are you following me?!" Hiyori said trying to shake off her grip, "You should just leave me and Yato alone. I thought I already gave you a warning at school, but your clearly too dim to realize it." Frightened out of shock, Hiyori accidentally slipped into her half phantom form. "Perfect." Sakura said, grabbing Hiyori in her phantom form and dragging her to a old beaten down shrine. Sakura then knocked her out and everything went black.
