Chapter 1

''Wait up,Trina'',i shouted trying to catch up with my best friend as she walked way ahead of me.''Sorry i cant hear you, Nikki speak up'' She said with a smirk ,clearly trying to annoy me.

''I'm right here, are you deaf?'' I said out of breath trying to go at the same pace she was going in.''ugh i really don't want to face that maths test today, did you even study for it Trina,?'', " No didn't even open a book yesterday.''She said carelessly as usual.

''Its freezing isn't it,i actually couldn't even get up this morning,do you know what time i fell asleep late last night,at like 2 o'clock in the morning and i cant believe i have to babysit my sister tomorrow night, you know how annoying she is oh yeah and now i cant go to Jason's party and-''.''you talk so much someone would probably think you're telling me your life story'' i said looking at Trina with my expressionless face.

''Wait but guess who asked me out tonight?''She said pushing me nearly half way off the road so i could get knocked down by a car.''No way,did Jason really,aw that's so sweet see i told you,he liked you''i said excitedly.

''I know like and-''Whats wrong Nikki'',Trina asked staring at my stunned face.''Oh my god Trina look at that little kitten''i said nudging Trina to turn around and look at a little kitten who was sprawled out in the middle of the road  and was desperately trying to get up,It looked like it had a broken leg.''I have to go help it'' i said, looking left and right and then walking onto the road to help the poor kitten.''okay be careful''Trina replied.

''Oh My God!,Nikki!,Look Out!'',were the last words i heard before i felt something large and heavy hit the back of my head brutally, before i collapsed to the ground and felt my head spinning. I honestly felt like i was going to die.

When i woke up, i just had a faint memory of what had happened. All i could feel was a stinging pain at the back of my head and my arm still felt numb.

Unusually when i opened my eyes I knew I wasn't in Ontario anymore. I blinked a few times trying to make my vision clear.  As I slowly opened my eyes, i found myself in a place that i didn't recognise but that was familiar to me in some way ....
