Chapter 7

Lauren and josh hung out after her practice, trying to spend as much time together as they could while there schedules weren't overbearing, which would only last for a short amount of time. "Josh I meant to tell you we have a Jamboree Thursday and we have to leave fifteen minutes into third period to make it and have time to warm up. Anne and the guys are coming because it doesn't start till 5, so I was wondering if you could come to?" She asked just wanting to spend whatever time she could with him. "Sorry babe, I really want to but the guys and I already scheduled a little scrimmage with some of our friends from other schools. I wish I would have known sooner." She saw a hint of guilt in his eyes and even though she really wanted him to come she wasn't going to hold it against him because he couldn't. "It's fine babe, don't sweat it. I've got you right now, that's good enough for me." She pecked his lips and was about to pull away but he pulled her by her waist to keep her in place. He kissed her gently and greedily, she wrapped her arms around his neck and ran her fingers through his hair as they continued to make out.

Almost thirty minutes into making out Josh's phone vibrated and he pulled away parting their lips. He looked at his phone showing a hint of a smile that he refrained from showing full fledge, "Aaron wants me to come over so we can work on our project due next week, I gotta go babe." Before Lauren could even utter a word in response Josh had already stood, pecked her lips and left.

Lauren's POV

Uhh ok then, he's never been so anxious to work on any type of homework but whatever I guess. I took my shower and got ready for bed. I couldn't fall asleep just yet so I decided to scroll through Twitter. I seen that I had notifications, so I decided to see what they were.

She posted a video of me singing the song I had wrote today, which I had yet to name. I watched the video and was pretty satisfied with my work. I favorited and retweeted it before responding
