Megan's pov

We were walking down the pier and then I heard, "Who are these lovely ladies walking all by themselves?" I look up at the same time Jess does and see Matt and the rest of the guys behind him.

Jess giggled and I said, "Well, I would introduce myself but I have this feeling like we have already met..." I laughed and his smile got even bigger.

Matt pulled me into a hug and Jessica started talking with Shawn. Then, Taylor said, "Hey! Look! They have a Ferris wheel!" Nah rolled his eyes and said, "Good observation, genius." Taylor scowled and elbowed him and Nash just laughed.

Matt held out his hand and said, "To the Ferris wheel then?" I returned his smile and said, "To the Ferris wheel." I looked over at Jess and her and Shawn were talking. Cute babies.

We got to the Ferris wheel and we were in line. I went to get money so I could go buy tickets when Matt pushed my hand back into my purse.

"This is a date. I'm paying for you." As soon as he said that I blushed and said," Are you sure?" He nodded and we moved up in line. We got to the Ferris wheel cart and we all piled into one.

As soon as we got moving I said," Everyone looks like ants ?? This is rad." My choice of words earned me a chuckle from everybody and for me to blush even more.

I sat down and joined in the conversation which consisted of who me and Jessica are. "So you live at an orphanage?" Taylor said. We nodded and Jess said, "It's not too bad..." I rolled my eyes and said, "It sucks. Terribly. It's like having 5 parents who all criticize you based on how you breathe." Matt frowned and said, "I'm sorry. That must suck.." I nodded and Jess said, "You are such a drama queen."

I laughed and said, "I get it from you!" We were laughing as the ride came to a stop. We got out and stated walking again. This was going to be a fun night.

It has been a couple of hours and we were at the beach now. The boys begged us to get in but we didn't, for obvious reasons. We were up on the sand and I was eating cotton candy Matt bought me.

Jess and Shawn were balancing on rocks and seeing who would fall first. Dummies. Then Taylor and Nash were making a fire.

Me and Matt were still sitting on the sand joking around. "Did you have fun tonight?" Matt said and looked at me. I nodded and said, "Best night I've had in years. How about you? How do I compare?" I smirked and he got a little closer.

"You don't," he paused and I frowned a bit," because you're so amazing." I stared into his eyes and he leaned in. We suddenly kissed and it felt like a little explosion. I smiled into the short but sweet kiss and we pulled apart. "You're not too shabby yourself, Matthew." He chuckled and I looked over to Jess and Shawn, who I didn't see.

I assumed they were behind the rock doing "things". Then Nash called out, "Come on dorks! Fires on!" Matt stood up and grabbed my hand to help me up. We held hands on the way to the fire and Nash awwwed at us.

I rolled my eyes as Matt blushed. We sat down as Jess and Shawn came over. I smiled at her and she winked at me. Idiot. Taylor held up a bag and said, "S'mores anybody?"

Jess perked up, "Hell yeah! Lemme see!" I laughed and leaned my head on matts shoulder.

The rest of the night went perfectly. We had s'mores and made jokes. I flirted and kissed Matt, and I saw Jess and Shawn do the same. I became best friends with Shawn and Taylor. That truly was the best night of my life.
