So I actually wrote this chapter before and loved it... and then accidentally  deleted it. So here it is again.

"Adelina!"

The young adult turned around when she heard her named being screamed out, only to be greeted by a warm body pulling her into a hug. "It's been so long!"

She pulled back briefly to place the voice and squealed as she noticed the curls of brown hair. "Renee!"

"I haven't seen you in years, Adi." Shortly after Bella had left for Forks, Adelina Page had left for the west coast to live in California with her own father. Renee, although thrilled to see Bella's long time friend, she was a little confused as to why. "Did Bella ask you to come?"

Adelina nodded. "She called me a few weeks ago to invite me. Although I'm not sure how."

"That would be our doing." They both turned to see a handsome, slightly taller man walk towards them. Giving Adelina a smile, he offered her his hand. "I'm Carlisle, Edward's father. Bella mentioned how much she would love to have you here, so we reached out to find you."

"I'm both flattered and slightly weirded out," she teased. "Regardless, I'm glad you all found me. I would have killed Bella if she got married without telling me."

The older man smiled. "Well, I have to go check on the rest of our guests. If you need anything Adelina, come find me."

The pair watched as Carlisle walked away towards another group of guests. Adelina sighed and looked back at Renee, who was still staring at the older man. "Renee."

"Hmm?"

She laughed, shaking her head. "Don't you need to go find your own husband?"

"My husband... Um..." Renee stuttered. Adelina finished for her. "Phil, Renee. Your husband is Phil."

Coming out of her daze, Renee's cheeks reddened. "Right, Phil. I need to go find him." Dashing off, she didn't look back at the young adult.

Adelina laughed at the older woman running in heels. However, her smile dropped as she realized that she didn't know anyone else. Looking around, she couldn't spot Carlisle or Renee. Backing up, she jumped as she bumped into somebody. "I'm so sorry!"

She turned around to spot a boy, cheeks flushed. With his cheekbones high on his face and the slim but muscled body, he couldn't have been much younger than her. The only childish features on his body were his eyes. Sparkling brown and crinkled at the edges, his eyes alone made Adelina smile back.

"It's my fault, really," she said. Seeing as he was about to argue, she put a finger up. "Agree to disagree."

He nodded. "I'm Seth."

"Adelina," she introduced.

His smile was infectious. Immediately, she could tell that Seth had one hell of a character. "Are you here for the bride or groom?" He asked.

"I suppose both," she laughed. "But I've known Bella since diapers, so she was the one who invited me."

"Same. Well, not the knowing Bella since diapers part but I'm here for both of them. Our families don't really get along well so I thought it would be kinda tense, but it's actually pretty nice."

Adelina tilted her head, confused. "Why don't your families get along?"

Seth's eyes widened a fraction before he shook it off. "Issues that we don't agree on, I guess. It's getting better."
