(Flashback)
"What is this?" I examined the envelope my parents gave to me for my birthday.
"Open it and find out." my dad gestured to the envelope with heaven knows what inside of it.
"Okay.." I slowly lifted the flap of the unmarked envelope and took out the folded papers inside. I unfolded them and instantly saw the Ticketmaster logo on the top. My heart started pounding and I furiously read what the tickets were for.
"OH MY GOD!" I screamed and started crying on the floor when I saw what they were for. I had two tickets to see my idol. The one and only Austin Mahone.
"Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU!" I screamed and hugged my parents in tears. I quickly ran upstairs and grabbed my phone. I dialed my best friend's number and waited for her to pick up.
"Hello?" she finally answered.
"BRIANNA GUESS WHAT" I screamed into the phone.
"What?!" She asked, obviously confused about why I was crying and screaming.
I proceeded to tell her all about what had just happened and she was just excited as I was. We were finally going to be seeing the boy we had been supporting since he was on YouTube, in concert.
(end of flashback, start of flashback to the day of the concert)
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be there in like 10 minutes. Yeah, we'll go to Denny's then to the arena. Alright, see you in a bit!" I hung up the phone and sat down on my bed to put on my shoes.
I checked myself one last time in the mirror and sighed. No matter what I did, I couldn't bring myself to feel confident. Oh well, today I was going to have fun.
I smiled at the thought. Austin Mahone. The boy who I saw singing With You by Chris Brown, was finally making it big. He was on a headlining tour! And I would be seeing him in a matter of hours.
I ran downstairs to find my parents sitting at the table, drinking coffee.
"Brianna and I are going to eat breakfast at Denny's then we're going to the concert" I informed them of my plans.
"Okay honey, have fun and be careful with the car! We're trusting you!" my mom gave me a hug.
"I know, I will. Bye mom. Bye dad." I gave them both kisses on the cheek and grabbed the car keys. I headed out the door and got into the car. I drove to Brianna's house and honked.
Brianna shortly came running out with a huge smile on her face. She got into the passenger seat.
We both looked at each other and started screaming. We laughed afterwards and drove off.
We got to the restaurant and surprisingly, there were very few people there.
A waitress sat us down at a table and took our order, soon after she left, Brianna and I started talking about the concert.
“Okay, okay, today is going to be the best day of our lives! I cant wait!” I squealed.
Brianna was looking around when suddenly her jaw dropped and she started shaking.
“Brianna? What's wrong?” I tried to see what she was looking at and saw it. It was him. He was here. In the restaurant. Along with his three best friends, Alex, Robert, and Zach.
“Bri- Brianna.. what do w-we do?” I tried to get words out.
“Uhh.. um.. do we go over to them? Tell them we're big fans? Or..?” she stayed staring at the boys, sitting across the room.
“I think I'll faint.” I admitted.
“Please! Let's go! It's not everyday you see your IDOL in Denny's!” She tried whispering, but it was more of a shriek.
“You're right.. Let's go..”
(end of flashback, present time)
“No! No! A-AUSTIN NO!” I screamed, trying not to laugh.
“Stop. STOP! AUS-” I screamed and started kicking my boyfriend.
“Too late, Pay. You should've thought twice about rejecting my kiss.” Austin grinned, starting to chase after me.
Crazy, right? Just over two years ago, I was freaking out with my bestfriend over seeing him in concert, now he's my boyfriend. He's a pain in the ass, like right now, he's chasing me around his house, trying to tickle me, just because I rejected a kiss.
I ran into his moms restroom and slammed the door, locking myself in. I caught my breath, and waited for Austin to come pounding on the door. The room was too quiet, in fact, the house was too quiet. He had to be up to something, I knew it.
I peeked through the little space under the door. Nope, nothing. No one was in the room. I slowly unlocked the door and opened it. I poked my head out and looked around again. Once I saw the room was clear, I slowly walked out of the restroom. I tip-toed around, extra cautious. I walked out of his moms room and into the kitchen.
“Austin?” I looked around. I went back into the living room where he was before, but he wasn't there. I walked upstairs and checked the upstairs restroom. Nope, he wasn't there. I checked his room and still, no sign.
“Austin, this isnt funny. I know you're going to pop out and scare me.” I walked backwards out of the restroom and backed up into the wall.
“Like this?” Austin wrapped his arms around me from behind.
I screamed and turned around. What I thought was a wall I went back into, was actually Austin behind me.
“Jerk!” I hit Austin, who was now dying of laughter.
“You're so easy to scare, babe!” He tried to stop laughing and catch his breath but failed.
I laughed too. He was too cute when he was out of breath from laughing.
“Let's go.” Austin recovered from his laughing fit and picked me up bridal style. We went back downstairs and he put me down on the couch.
