The Shadow Thief

Chapter 5

   Felina sighed as she reached the training grounds, where Kakashi was talking with the black haired woman and a black haired man with a short beard.  There were alot of people here, well, to what Felina is used to, which is 5 or 6.
     A boy with short black hair and a green jumpsuit aproached Felina and fist pumped.
   "You seem powerful! I want to have a spar with you!" He exclaimed in a determined tone, and the fire of determination seemed to burn in his eyes as he challenged her.
   After a few moments of talking about the conditions, Felina agreed, and the two stood oposite of eachother in the clearing as the others sat on the sidelines to watch.
     Felina paused, and she stood in her militaristic stance, her eyes never leaving Lee.  She frowned as she saw his muscles tense as he prepared to sprint, and when he kicked out to where she was, she practically disappeared and reappeared behind him.  Everyone was shocked by her speed.
Lee turned swiftly and tried to hit her, but she dodged to the side and grabbed his wrist in a strong grip, before swinging her hips around, and she threw him high into the air, before swinging a kick, hitting him to the side.
     Lee yelped in pain as his back met a tree, cracking the tree slightly under the force.
   He growled and stood, before running at her and trying to kick her in the back, but Felina managed to block with her shin, before countering with a sideways hit to the side, knocking him back a few paces.
     In truth, Felina wasn't using her full strength.  She didn't want to hurt Lee too bad.
   Everyone watched in awe as the two continued fighting, each matching the others speed and countering eachothers attacks.  Kakashi watched in interest.
     "She's fast. She's able to keep up with Lee's speed, which isn't easy to do, even for you or me," Kakashi stated in a nonchalant tone.  The others nod and Guy gets a sort of admirable look.  "Not many can match his speed.  Whoever trained her must have had tremendous skills," Guy stated.
     Unknown to them, Felina heard them chatting, and she slightly grimaced as she heard them talking about the one who trained her.
     Felina hesitated at that moment, and Lee took that chance to  attack Felina, and he landed a good hit to her stomach.
     Felina recoiled in pain, and she stumbled back slightly. She growled and for a brief moment, her eyes flashed a demonic red, before turning to normal. 
     The only one that noticed, thankfully, was kakashi, who's eyes widened in shock.  He remained quiet, and he wondered what that was.
     Felina growled and glared, and her nails slightly elongated and turned black, like claws, and she dashed almost out of sight, and slashed at Lee.
    She made contact with her claws on the side of his cheek, and he yelled loudly in pain as five slender streaks appeared on his face, and he slightly recoiled back.
     Felina growled and took the chance to kick Lee square in the stomach, sending him flying back into another tree, making the tree snap under the pressure.
     The fight ended like that, because Lee was knocked out by the force of the blow.
    Felina felt sort of guilty about knocking Lee out, but after Lee recovered he just grinned and said that Felina was a worthy oponent, and that he hopes to spar again.
     Everyone was impressed with Felina's skill, and Sasuke asked her who trained her to have such strength.  Felina responded by saying she didn't remember, because she switched senseis alot because of her training style, but kakashi noticed she looked defensive, as if trying to hide something.
     And as the teams said goodbye, Kakashi wondered just who this mysterious person really was and what she was trying to hide.
