What I see

Her face wasn't symmetrical. Her right eye always seemed smaller than the other one. Hair not entirely straight but nowhere near curly. It's length wasn't helping either; it was at an awkward stage, it fell at her shoulder and slightly curled upwards which was very noticeable. Her nose was average, with a cute mole on it. Although her cheeks were nothing close to average. Big chubby cheeks with barely existing dimples. Her lips were just average, but people always told her they were amazing. Her lips curving up when she smiled? I think that was more amazing. Almost fascinating.

Her skin tone changed as the seasons did. Darker during summer, and lighter and softer in winter. So did her body. The thighs seemed bigger during summer and winter it was a whole other thing. Her hips were wide, a little tummy falling out when she wore skinny jeans. The arms and legs were very funny. They got bigger the closer they got to the point where they were attached to her body. Her body was marked with drawings; scars and stretch marks. To top it she even had these dimples at her lower back. Some days they went unnoticed, other days they were the only thing you could think about.

Overall, she wasn't that bad looking. They were days where she looked like the sun, bright and warm, other days she was still the sun, except on such days you couldn't see her brightness cause she hid herself behind the clouds. You needed to witness both the days to truly see the beauty she held.

It took me some time, but now I can get through both the days.

And some days, I don't even have to stand in front of the girl in the mirror to see the beauty she holds.
