Hey guys it's been a while! Well it was just my birthday and I'm 19. I guess that means I'll have to change the title of this blog next year. Whoa I feel old.
Anyway, I'm sure we are all going to struggle together for the holidays. Thanksgiving means a lot of calories and so does Christmas. For my birthday alone I had three meals, and none of them were healthy. I could hardly bring myself to eat everything, which I suppose is a good thing since I'm trying to eat healthier.
My friend is going to get me ankle weights for my birthday! :D Is it sad that I'm excited for exercise equipment? lol I'm totally pumped to look amazing next summer. I've even discovered a difference. A few months ago I tried on these pants and felt a little embarrassed when they were tight around my thighs. I couldn't admit it to anyone. But I suddenly put them on yesterday and they weren't tight at all! I was so happy and amazed. I love when you find results in your body that you simply can't see in a mirror. You may think you're not changing, but even the smallest things are rewarding :)
So here's some more advice for you gals. It's great if you look up weight loss quotes or stories for inspiration, but I used to be one of those people. I realized rather than pinning weight loss pictures on pinterest I could be doing squats. Instead of sitting there wishing you could be that fit girl you could use that envious energy and actually workout. Don't get caught up in the pictures. Just get up and do it. It's as simple as that. Then, after I'm shaky and sweaty and satisfied, I'll look up fitness inspiration with a new determination because I'm one step closer to my goal.
Next blog will probably be a holiday based one that's a lot more informative! I'm taking a bio class this semester and learned some pretty interesting facts in class. I just wanted to post this blog so you all didn't think I was dead haha.
I also found some more inspirational quotes. I'm obsessed with them! I found humorous and ones that speak the truth. I hope it helps motivate you :)
You can't expect to look like a million bucks if you eat from the dollar menu.
If you think a minute goes by really fast, you've never been on a treadmill.
If you still look cute at the end of your workout, you didn't train hard enough.
Let's drink beer and eat nachos and discuss how skinny we're gonna be when we start exercising.

Nobody cares about your excuses. Nobody pities you for procrastinating. Nobody is going to cuddle you because you are lazy. It's your ass. Move it.
If you spent your time working out instead of Pinning, you wouldn't need that weight loss inspiration board.
If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up.
Remember: Fat last longer than flavor.
Yesterday you said tomorrow.
Being on a 'diet' means, "I can't have it." Enjoying a healthy lifestyle means, "I don't want it."
To change your body, you must change your mind.
When life comes at you, come back twice as hard.
Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.
Small daily improvements are the key to staggering long-term results.
Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.
Nobody can want it for you. You have to want it for yourself.
Do what is right not what is easy.
It's not about losing weight, it's about gaining confidence. It's not about shrinking in size, it's about growing in strength.
Don't compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 20.
That moment when you can look in the mirror and tell yourself, "It wasn't easy, but it was worth it."
Run like there's a hot guy in front of you and a creepy dude behind you.
The reason most people give up is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have come.
