I hung my head then stared at the window. It was raining like it did not want me to move in to my new mansion. "Mr. Brutford, will we be there soon? I asked. "Soon my dear. Soon my dear................. Said Mr. Brutford. He was wearing a dark gray coat and shirt. His pants were a deep black. He looked sad. "Back story?" I asked. "No back story at all.!" I though about what he said. It seemed frantic, you could think he was lying.............

He dropped me off at the GIGANTIC doors. I felt a chill from the palace. It's beauty comforted me though, like a evil fighting itself. I stared at the door wondering what was ahead of me. Would it it take me to a secret place with a labyrinth. I could feel me taking on that labrinth: I had until sunrise to solve the labyrinth but, i was too week to walk. I had to not think about that. Magic wasn't real....... Was it?

I went in waiting to see what would be waiting for me.................................

The feel of the place was creepy. When i walked in, the place surprised me. It was BEAUTIFUL! The way it's design was controlled my feelings. In a good way. It was a trustful place. I went to bed.

The next morning i waltzed (by myself) all the way down the stairs. Then i froze. Right there sitting on a chair with a little girl on a woman's lap was a little girl wearing a dress. "How did... Why are..." I stumbled. "Enough of your silly questions! I'm here because i need you to take care of this stupid girl! She's to much for me! She does not have a name. So, name her what you want! Good day! Said the woman. I have to take care of a 8 year-old. This will be great.

It's just against you...

Funeral

Funeral

I was freaking out i had a new family member. Well not a like ligit family member. But, a given family member.

"Hi little girl! Can you say things?" I asked.

"I can talk. But, i'm only 7." She said.

"How bout i name you, Anna." I said.

"Ok." She said.

The phone started to ring.

"I'm going to get this" I said.

I went and got it.

"Hello?"

"yes."

"Am i invited?"

"We'll come."

"Anna, were you by chance close to that woman you were with?" I asked.

"She made me clean the whole house. But, other than that you could say i was close to her. Why?" She said.

"It's just that. Tomorrow it's...it's her funeral." I said.

"I wasn't THAT close to her. We can go if you want." She said.

'It's probably right for us to go." I said.

The next day.

"You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yes." She said

"Hop in." I said.

"So, how did that woman act?" I asked.

_"She acted ghostly. Nothing like a normal person. When she saw someone walk by the house she would watch them until another person walked by. When i asked why she would scream in my face!" _ She said.

"How weird" I said

Later at the funeral.

"Do you hear that?" I asked.

"She said when she dies she would do it like she always lived. And she lived like a ghost." Anna said.

"She's different. Very different." I said.

After the funeral.

"That was different than what i imagined."

Did you think you had good luck with that girl?

Well, now i'm gone.

"Hmm. Your right. It was like a mean funeral. Only one person spoke good about her." Anna said.

"Oh well. I don't care! We don't have to worry about it! i'm concerned either way." I said.

"What is your name? You never told me. Your right too. I'd just like to know." Anna said.

"My name is Victoria. Victoria MoneysWorth." I said.

"I thought i heard one time of the great MoneysWorth family. The family that hated and threw out there daughter.....Victoria." Anna said.

"My mom. My dad. My family. They threw me out. Said i didn't belong." I said.

"Why." Anna said.

"Because...Because...Because..." I said.

"You don't have to say it. If you don't........trust me." Anna said.

"I trust you. I just.....don't know." I said.

"You don't? Well why? Did they hate you or something? Come on think!" Anna said.

"Anna, please no. I think i'm going to sleep this off." I said.

_"Sorry. Ok." Anna said. I went to bed.
