Bound To You

CHAPTER 9

"Who was your first kiss?" I repeated when she didn't speak.

She seemed shocked. Kaya kahit abnormal yung nararamdaman ko, I can't help but grinned at her reaction.

"Wala pa no?" I asked again.

Again, she didn't answer. Nakatitig lang siya sakin and if I   continue this, im sure I could kiss her freely.

I bit my bottom lip again when my eyes caught her lips. It was so inviting. I've never kissed any girls except for my mother. And it feels so strange to be in this position where I don't know if I should go on or back away.

Im quiet hopeless romantic. I want my first kiss to be special with someone special too.

I touched her chin and leaned closer to her. I can even smell her fresh breath now. I tilted my head and stared at her luscious lips then I saw her closed her eyes and a huge smile broke my face. This is it.

"Sorry, hindi ako humahalik e" I said and pulled away from her.

I watched her calming herself then throw daggers on me when she opens her eyes. Then shamelessly speaking, I got a jaw punch from her raging fist. I deserve it. She's very strong I could say because I almost stumble with that punch but before I could react, she's already stepping downstairs kaya hinabol ko siya.

"Wait!" I shouted but she didn't stop nor look behind. "Pam! Hintayin mo ko! Where are you going?" I asked.

I took a deep breath bago mabilis na bumaba ng hagdan. Tuluy tuloy lang siyang naglakad kahit madilim. Why girls have to be so stubborn?

Napatigil ako ng kumulog at biglang bumuhos ang ulan. "Dammit!" I hissed at tumakbo na ko para maabutan si Pamela.

I saw her covering her ears but doesn't stop from walking. I immediately grabbed her arm and dragged her back to the tree. "Akyat"  commanded.

But she stood still na parang walang narinig.

"Magkakasakit ka, akyat na" sabi ko ulit.

But she didn't make a move until lightning comes and she closed her eyes as she covered her ears again.

"Umakyat ka na kasi! Kasunod mo lang ako" I said in frustration.

I can't stand watching her like that. She's so scared. I felt a bit relieved when finally, nagsimula na siyang umakyat.

Sumunod agad ako sa pagakyat. I watched her sitting at the corner. The light from my phone's still on. Naupo ako sa tapat niya and stared at her intently. I saw how her body shakes dahil sa ulan at basang basa siya. I stood up. Hinubad ko ang hoodie ko and thankfully, I've worn a shirt inside kaya hinubad ko rin dahil hindi naman yun nabasa.

"Hoy! Anong binabalak mo?!" sigaw niya.

Tss. 

I threw my shirt on her "Wear it" I said and turned my back. "Remove your wet shirt before wearing that" I added.

"Subukan mong sumilip, tutusukin ko yang mata mo!" banta niya but im not in the mood anymore to tease her. I stood still while my back facing her.

"Tss" 

"Okay na" sabi niya saka lang ulit ako humarap sa kanya para kuhanin yung damit niya at isampay kasama ng hoodie ko.

It's cold like hell but I don't care. Mas okay naman na lamigin ako dito kesa magkasakit siya dahil sakin.

I sat acrossed her again and stared at her. I said I want this to be special. Tss.

I've watched her restraining herself to cover her ears when the thunder comes again but she failed. I don't like what im seeing right now. I can't stand looking at scared Pamela and there's something inside of me wants to do everything to protect her. Lumipat ako sa tabi niya, pero pagkaupo ko palang, bigla na naman kumidlat kaya hindi na ko nagdalawang isip at hinila ko na si Pam at niyakap.
