I opened my eyes and needed a few minutes for them to adjust to the bright light surrounding me.

I stretched a little in that comfy bed that I suddenly realized was unfamiliar. As I looked around, I also realized the whole room was unfamiliar. That's when it all came back at once.

I remembered it all... Every detail. Oh my god!!! I spent the night with Zane!!!!

My heart squeezed so hard in my chest that it hurt.

He was not beside me on the bed. I was alone. For a minute, I thought that he might have left me alone in his apartment. But when I heard footsteps in the living room, I realized that he was still here.

Anxiety invaded me. Now what? What was I supposed to do? How was I supposed to act?

I knew that the fact that we spent the night together probably didn't mean anything to him. But to me it was kind of a big deal. In fact, the whole time I spent with him was a big deal.

We were supposed to never have sex again, yet we did. I was never supposed to stay over yet he took me to his bedroom. I was totally lost.

I touch my swollen lips that he spent hours kissing last night and my stomach fluttered. If none of this meant anything to him, then why being so soft to me?

I immediately shook my head, refusing to feed myself with wrong ideas. That was just the way he was and it absolutely didn't mean anything. I had already decided to not let myself be led wrongly by this dangerous man.

I got up quickly and immediately realized I was completely naked. Fuuuuck! My clothes were all in the living room!!!!

There was no way I was going to walk there naked... Too fucking embarassing. What to do?

I looked around and saw one of his shirt laying on the arm chair. Was it OK to borrow it? After a few seconds of hesitation, I came to the conclusion I was short for choices anyway.

I took the shirt and put it in. Perfect size that hid all my assets, falling right at mid-tighs. I took a deep breath and opened the bedroom door to find Zane, in sweat, wearing a black tank top and some blue running shorts while drinking water from the bottle. He saw me and a small grin appeared on his lips as his eyes shifted down to realize the shirt I was wearing was his.

"Who told you you could put that on?" He asked with a smile.

I blushed, and looked at my feet. "Sorry... That was the only thing I found when I got up"

He chuckled and put the bottle down before walking toward me and sofly wrapping his arms around my waist. I looked at his smiling face dripping with sweat and smiled. "Why are you all sweaty?" I asked while whipping off a pearl of sweat running on his arm.

"There was a girl in my bed when I woke up who was snoring so loud that she woke me up. So since I couldn't fall back asleep, I figured I'd go run until the snoring monster decides to wake up"

My jaw dropped. "I don't snore..." I protested. "You're such a liar!"

"You do though" he laughed. "And pretty loud too. That's really not sexy, you know?"

"What?" I said while moving away from his arms. "That's not true!"

"Sorry I have to be the one telling you" he laughed even louder.

"Whatever... The not-sexy-snoring girl is on her way out anyway..." I walked to the chair where my dress was and grabbed it.

"What? Without a shower?" He asked while crossing his arms with a cheeky smile.
