Don't Mess With the Nerd

How it all began

               

I woke up staring at my ceiling already hoping this day to be over already. Last day of junior year, I'm stuck one more year in that hellhole that in I have to call high school. Im known as the nerd of my school and no one lets me forget it. Ive been shoved into lockers, food spilled on me, prank after prank and I haven't done anything about it. I don't really care anymore so why bother trying to change it. I got out of bed and headed to my closet, to pick out my pink sweater, galaxy leggings and white converse. I took a shower, got dressed, put my hair up in a ponytail, grabbed my glasses and my backpack and headed down the stairs. 

"Honey, aren't you going to eat something?" my mom asked.

"I was going to grab an apple and head over to school." I said with a smile on my face.

"Oh ok, here you go. Have a good day sweetie." My mom said as she handed me an apple.

"Thanks mom, bye" I said as I munched on my sweet apple.

I walked out and into my fiat cabrio and drove to school. As I pulled up I immediately saw the popular group, it consisted of the football team and the cheerleading squad. I rolled my eyes as they all looked over and laughed at me as if I'm some inside joke. I tried to hurry inside but it was too late.

"Hey Abby! Where did you get that sweater? Let me guess a dumpster?" Tina's high-pitched voice pieced thru the air as I stopped in my tracks because I was done with this already

"Actually no but I think that's where you got your face so I wouldn't be talking if I were you." I said as I whirled around staring daggers at her.

"Excuse me?" she screeched as everyone around up stopped dead in their tracks gawking at the scene unfolding.

"Im sorry could you not hear me cuz you blew out you own ear drums with your voice. Like seriously doesn't it hurt to speak that high?" I stated back unfazed by her approaching me.

"Do you know who I am? Im head cheerleader, I have every guy after me a-" she starts but I cut off her rant "And you spread your legs for every single one of them. Yeah Tina I know its called hearing you with my brother. Like ew I don't need to hear that you want it harder." I stated in a bored tone again.

There were ohs and burns coming from the crowd as Tina walked up to me. I glanced over at her group and saw Andrew looking at me with an amused smirk and my heart skipped a beat. I focused my attention back to my brother who was behind her red in the face. I ignored Tina and waved at him, which only made him madder.

"Hey bro, long time no-" I said as I felt a stinging sensation on my cheek. Time froze, everyone was silent, no one ever laid a hand on me they pranked me they taunted me but never hurt me physically. My brothers face paled, Tina looked like she won and my eyes turned dark as I faced here with a look that made my brother pull her behind him.

"Abs, she didn't mean it. It was just a prank yea it was just a joke you don't need to do anything she'll leave you alone I promise just head to class and we'll forget this ever happened k?" he said quickly with a timid smile on his face as Tina struggled to get out of his grip.

"I am going to only say this once Jace. My family is only allowed to call me Abs. You are not my family. Do you know why? Cuz you protected a slut over your own twin. I'll see you around I have plans to take care of." I said and walked away back to my car as I called my older sister.

"Angel, I'm taking you up on that offer," I said with a smirk on my face.

"Are you sure? What about Ja-" Angel started but I cut her off.

"I'm sure," I said as I drove off to make a new me.
