"Why is back stage so boring all the time."
"Weston shut up it's because you're back here."
"Wow Mario, way to hurt my feelings. I really feel loved. Kind of like how you love-"
"Don't even go there CoCo Chanel."
"You love-"
"Weston if you do it."
"BOB ROSS"
"Oh, whew I thought you were gonna say that girl."
"Which one?"
"Umm, from insta." Mario laughs.
"Ohhhh. Gotcha."
"Can y'all be quiet?! we're trying to talk here." Zach interrupts Mario and Weston.
"BETTY WAP HAS SPOKEN!!!"
"Yeah and she told you to shut up."
I laugh at Mario's response.
"So what were you saying out there?" I ask Zach.
"Well umm, I- I was saying-"
"Zach?"
"I'm getting there. I was saying that I- I kind of sort of-"
"Zach, are you okay?"
"Yeah, perfect but I just want to say that I-"
"SPIT IT OUT BETTY!!"
"shut up Weston."
"What is it Zach?"
"Well, Allie. Follow me."
"Okay..." I get up and follow him to the now empty stage and empty room. He grabs my hands and looks at me.
"Goodness, I don't deserve you."
"Are you kidding?! No way, Zach. If anyone doesn't deserve someone, it's me. I don't deserve you!"
"Allie-"
"What?"
"I love you."
My heart skips a beat and I get chills from head to toe. My stomach feels like butterflies are hitting every side of it. This is the perfect moment. I'm so glad he said that. Before I can say another word, he's getting closer to me. Holding me close to him he leans in for a kiss but I turn my head so he kisses my cheek.
"You're gonna have to try harder than that Clayton."
"Playing hard to get? Okay then."
I run off the stage and into the seating area. I weave in and out of the chairs while Zach is chasing me.
"I promise I'll get that kiss!!"
"Not if you can't catch me!!"
He speeds up and grabs me from behind around his waist and turns me around.
"Wait, I need to say something..."
"What?" he asks.
"Zachary Clayton, I love you."
