The day was in July. Any other day in the American suburb. Hana Lancaster was relaxing in her backyard wasting away her summer. She didn't really have any friends & she liked it like that. Seventeen, brown hair, blue eyes, a good sized height & extremely beautiful. Laying in her backyard she sighed heavily & started to hum a melody that she knew. Realising the song she was humming to herself, she had a smile across her lips. "Head underwater, & you tell me, to breathe easy for awhile. The breathing gets harder. Even I know that. Make room for me but it's too soon to see, if I'm happy in your hands. I'm usually, hard to hold onto," she sang softly to herself. Giving out a sigh, she opened her blue orbs to see the blue sky above her. Humming quietly, she got up to go back inside. Might as well do something while she out for summer break. Going back inside, she slipped on her shoes & went out her front door. Her parents were at work that day so she didn't have to tell anyone. Walking to the park, she started to sing more. "Blank stares at, blank pages. No easy way to say these. You mean well, but you make this hard on me. I'm not going to write you a love song. Even if you asked for even if you need one. You see, I'm not going to write you, to stay," she sang out, not even caring if people heard. Getting to the park, she walked around before going to the swings. Humming, she sat down, wishing she brought her sketch book. Everything was always beautiful to her in the summer. All the animals were out, the flowers were in bloom, & everyone just had a good time. Seeing things got dark, she turned her head, being greeted by a man who was just behind her. "Um, hello?" She asked him. The tall man ignored her. "Hello, why are you standing behind me?" She asked more eager.
"One wish," the man said to her, not making any expression.
"What do you mean one wish?" She asked
him.
"One wish to get whatever you want in life. Whatever you wish, I will grant," he said with a crooked smile. She thought for a moment, trying to think of what to wish for. Anything she wanted huh? She can wish for more friends, but they'll just go. Forever happiness? No, because than what's life without some sort of sadness? Wealth? No, they'll make her greedy. Finally having a idea of what she wished for, she stood up, & looked at the man straight in the face. "I wish for the ability to turn anything to ash & dust. Including humans beings. But not by touching them & straight away they'll become nothing of existences. No. If they have hurt me badly & I can never forgive them. If I am angry," she said to him with a straight face. The man simply nodded.
"Your wish is granted," he said before vanishing away. Feeling a bit light headed, she almost fell. And seeing it almost gotten dark, she decided to go home. Who knows when the wish will kick in. Walking home, she hummed the song again.
